friendly staff, free snack
Nice lady on front desk, clean good shower, close location to ferry. Apart from the extreme noise and the unchanged linen this hostel is good.
The noise was extremely bad at night as room was by the lounge area, woken up multiple times, don't stay here if you need to sleep but is OK for partying travellers. Also the pillow cases had not been changed and there were used towels in the room.
Receptionist was brilliant - guided tour. breakfast was good.
the room I stayed in - was like a train station or short cut. it was like they were going from reception to staff door.
A great location and very good staff. If you are in the village, this is the place to stay.
Free breakfast, near to the ferry, friendly staff
Not the newest hostel. When i arriving, a cat was in my room...
I would never reccomend this acco to anyone, it was trully nightmare! We travelled one moth around all NZ and everything was great but this experience was really bad. We made reservation of specific room couple of weeks before(double room with breakfast) and we didnt get neither this room nor breakfast. The stuff was very unpleasant and rude when we asked for the room we requested and not the hole they gave us and compensation for the breakfast when we had to leave at 7:00 to catch a ferry. After very long time we get the room but not the breakfast. Also for all the people they have been there accomodated were only one toilet and two showers working..if you could choose another place to stay.. Never more!!
Cool proprietress. Great aesthetics. Loved it.
All good, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
A real minor point but decent coffee would be nice!
Location is gr8 & staff were helpful. Room quiet area.
Communal bathroom..place seemed very dark despite colorful decor, bit dated!
Amazing location, friendly, loved the common areas.
Shower curtain had a coating of mildew & bathrooms not too close to the double rooms.
No car park, not clean. No wifi. I was charged more then what the actual money was
the people there were really friendly and the staff were too. it was close from the ferry station and its close to the main street of shops.
Very friendly and welcoming
Could do with a bit of a refurb
I enjoyed the service, hosts were friendly
Sheets on my bed seem dirty
Very homely feel, makes one feel very welcomed. Love the efforts taken to design the place. Staff were really wonderful and helpful.
Shared bathrooms were too small and there wasn't enough cubicles.
The place is full of interest and very handy for the Ferry. I liked the piano, wall decor, querky positioning of power sockets and light switches in the room (what did this building used to be ??)
Same sex washrooms and toilets
Good location, interesting decor, well equipped kitchen, brilliant value for money
Bed was uncomfortable
Wonderful staff. The queen of the house is an angel!!! Awesome decorations/pictures etc on walls. Great location being close to waterfront, town centre and ferry. Wonderful value for money. No faults at all. TU MEKE TO MAHI ATLANTIS!!! GREAT WORK TEAM ATLANTIS!!
The satff and the room.
Bathroom (only two toilets for males and females)
Great atmosphere thanks to very nice staff!
The noise into the room
The place is was found.
There are cats sleeping in non-used rooms, the kitchen is dirty and there is no respect to silence after 10pm.
Friendly awesome hostel doesn't matter whether you are young or old they treat you equal. I Booked asking for a bottom bunk as I am a older person and they made sure my request was seen to . Sheera and Howard are a wonderful pair of hosts staff are all onto it too.just nothing to much trouble to help anyone. Thanks for a lovely stay.
