Nice size, very clean room with a good bed. They had wired internet, with a short cord forcing you to work from the desk only. We would have preferred wireless. Also the cost for internet was high. |

The hotel staff were very friendly, however there were times that we had to ring back to follow-up a request. The room was fine, but were never fully cleaned each day. The rooms do not have central cooling/heating, as our room was supplied with a portable fin heater and electric fan. They did not have their own restaurant. The existing restaurant at the ground floor was operated by a diferent owner. The food choices were limited. |

We found that the hotel provided an excellent combination of comfortable accommodation in a central location for a reasonable rate. The staff were friendly and helpful. |

It was a clean, tidy hotel which met all of my expectations. The locat.ion was great and the room catered for our needs. It was lovely having a day spa located within the hotel If you were to improve an area of the hotel/room, perhaps look at the information folder provided for the guests in the room. It was minimal and could have a great deal more information about the hotel, services and the area surrounding the hotel. |

Located very near the city center. Friendly staff. Possibiliy to make own tea/coffee in the room. Modern flat-screen tv, but unresponsive to the remote control. No business center on weekend, so printing a document was an issue; making a scan was impossible. No free internet access in the room, with poor pre-paid plans (the choice between an one-hour - by clock, not by use - option or an overpriced 24 hr access). |

The courtesy and efficiency of the Staff was exceptional. The Hotel is centrally placed for visiting the city of Auckland and all the city has to offer. The rooms are functional; our studio was very spacious and comfortable with all mod-cons. Housekeeping was very good. There is an independent restaurant on site which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. We chose to eat out because we were visiting family, but the restaurant seemed well patronised. All in all good value for money and we would certainly consider staying there again should we revisit Auckland in the future. |

The price and the location. Also, rooms were reasonably well-appointed and clean. It annoyed me that despite their claims of "eco-consciousness", even when I hung up my towels every day, they were still replaced. Also, one towel rail barely large enough for 2 hand towels does no encourage towel re-use. Secondly, no air-con? |

Studio room was 2 double beds, good kitchenette, sitting area with sofa, coffee table and TV. Excellent set up for adjusting to time difference after a long journey. No central heating. But there were two very efficient thermostatic heaters. A pity they didn't switch them on before we arrived. The heat goes off when you leave the room (Hint; ask for two room cards so you can leave one in the slot!) The hotel is quite close to "Auckland City Mission" so some rough sleepers were just down the road on the other side. No problems but we didn't feel comfortable walking on the Mission side of the street. |
