The hotel was centrally located, clean and comfortable. Reception staff dealt with us quickly on check-in. Our room was very noisy - due to a window that could not be closed and inadequate double-glazing. |

The location is great, on the corner of the main shopping street, Queen street, and within walking distance of many other locations. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is apparantly due for renovations, and its about time having seen some the decor and condition of the rooms. Ours was definitely on the shabby side with peeling paint and scuffed marks aplenty. |

The efficient, friendly helpful staff.Given a room even though we came in early. It made our other plans fit into place. Would have liked to be able to watch the All Blacks/Wallabys replay on the Sunday, but no Sky 2 available.Some of the tv channels were poor quality viewing. |

The excellent location with good facilities nearby for food, wine, magazines etc. not not liked but having to think about when needing car instead of being able to just go and get it was a slight pain |

Friendly receptionist, good location. I booked two rooms as we had a friend over from the UK but on checking in, only one was reserved for us. Saying that, the receptionist arranged for another room straight away. |

very central, easy to find, walking distance to everything central. Very happy that you could open windows and get fresh air, even on 12th floor. Pleasant room, comfortable bed, sound proof windows so couldn't hear traffic when windows were shut. |
