Clean and well maintained Wi-fi seemed quite restrictive, having to get numerous codes for 20mins access at a time.

was nice and clean great shower pressure, good size bed. great location or what we needed being a wet floor shower water goes everywhere and you end up with a wet toilet seat but the pressure of the shower was great

I have a niece staying in Taradale with a young family and we decided to visit on the spur of the moment. as my niece lives only 5 doors down from the Ballina we decided to stay here because also staying with us was our daughter from Auckland. booking on line was so easy and once i made the booking i had confirmation within a matter of minutes. The Motel is situated so close to the shops & bars in Taradale there was no need to use our car. The room was a spacious 1 bedroom unit with a super king in the bedroom and a queen in the lounge. the spa bath was great especially travelling from the Wairarapa. The reception we recived was welcoming and we will stay again.

My main thing at a motel I look for is staff friendliness and I got that 100% from Ballina Motel. Thank you so much for your hospitality :) Maybe more lighting going upstairs during the night was quite hard to see, other than that bloody brilliant

Handy location for us, as close to family we were visiting. Spacious unit with all that we needed. Clean and modern. Bathroom great for those in a wheel chair, but floor got really slippery after shower as no curtain or doors. Male receptionist, was on phone for 2 visits to reception, other than our arrival. Both times he left us waiting, once until phone call was finished and on checkimg out, we were helped by what appeared to be the cleaning lady, who did not know how to attend to our AA card. He did it for her while still on the phone. There was no Thank you etc. from either of them on our departure. Reception skills very poor.

our room was very comfortable and clean with lovely decor Arriving at approx 3-30 to find reception closed and a note to phone cellphone # which no-one answered and we had to leave message. Everything turning off when we took key out of holder ie: air con and radio

*General spaciousness of facility *bathroom - plenty of room - light *Separate toilet *room in kitchen to put personal *food/drink carry bags *Selection & quality of hot drinks (free) *Private balcony * No parking issues We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends * Entrance to motel - not clearly defined, easy to miss! (2 members initially missed entrance way. (Suggest raise sign up on fence L/Hand side) * No where to hang (good) clothes in 2nd bedroom - big, big, negative * Insect life that "appeared" - earwig, white tail spider and cockroach. definitely a surprise but are not really holding owners entirely to blame for this though

Easy access to Vineyards. Old Church Meeanee Road. Taradale shops 3 minute walk. Good decor. Lovely waffle cotton bathrobes. Good bed linen and towels. I did not like the open shower. After using the shower, water covers 2/3rds of the bathroom floor. This is very dangerous and a nuisance as you cannot use the bathroom until you have used the towels to mop up the water. The motel request guests re-use towels to be eco-friendly and save on laundering costs??!! The shower is very poorly designed. This was an upstairs unit and therefore would not be used for wheelchair access. The pillows were cheap, thin and lacking any softness. One variety of Tea...most Motels have selection of regular,Earl Grey, herbal etc

What a friendly well situated hotel . Staff were friendly and very helpful. Loved the dark blue face flannel for ladies make up , a nice lovey touch. Very quite hotel.
