How clean it was.

Great value for money. Fantastic location. Love the room size, so much space! Having a washing machine...majic.

Terrific location for food, nightlife and the Vector. This is the second time we have stayed here and will assuredly be staying here for each Auckland visit. We have recommended it to friends

Been there for times and am going back again staff are real good our washer dryer was not working so one of the staff keven did our washing for us and even took it up to us when it was done we are 100% happy with our stay

Convenience in booking from the US. Manager was great even when we came late after 9pm. Had washer and drier as well as stove, disher, toaster, cutlery and everything else you would need for making your own meals.

Was able to book ahead that gave a rate of NZD90pn, combined with the fantastic views from my apt on the 14th floor, this was amazing value! Elevators in particular should be singled out for commendation- an intelligent system that always seemed to have one of the two ready within 10-15 secs.

Nothing- great in every way.

Location- The apartments are located near the Harbor. There are lots of nice restaurants within a five minute walk. There is also a small grocery store next door.

The inside of the building looks like a prison. Rooms are cleaned once a week.

When we arrived, we noticed that, even though the fridge was set at maximum, there was no atmosphere of coolness in it. The ice in the freezer box was about 100mm thick so obviously the fridge could not work. We reported this to the Manager. He did not bother to check it out himself but sent a worker to have a look. The worker reported back to the Manager and some time later came back with the decision that we should "turn the temperature control down a couple of notches". We said we did not accept the decision. This was because taking that action could not possibly have cured the problem and that therefore we wanted it replaced. The worker then went away. After this we heard nothing further from the Manager. We then decided to go to the Manager's office again to state (for the third time) that they must replace the faulty fridge. We had to be uncomfortably forceful in order to get the problem sorted out. We said to the Manager that we were very, very disappointed at his failure to deal with the problem. His response to me was: "No one is keeping you here, sir!" We left this hotel the next day even though we had booked in for a further three days. Waldorf senior management very kindly transferred us to Waldorf Celestion, a far superior hotel in every way. We would not stay at the Waldorf Bankside again even if it was free!

Not clean, elevator not always working.

I liked the fact that we could walk into the city centre within 10 minutes. It was a value for money accommodation considering the close proxomity to the city. The staff we encountered were only too willing to help answer our questions

Street and internal appeal - very poor! When my wife collected the key and the parking station key, she coomented, "what have we got ourselves into here? It looks like a prison inside." I agreed when I saw it but the rooms themselves were adequate.

Clean, bright, full facilities. Well laid out.

killer hill location

Friendly, helpful staff. Very good location - easy walking distance to harbour and CBD.

Bed was good, but slightly on the short side (I am fairly tall)

uphill walk back from city

Washing facility and close proximity to the Queen St and the pier. It was useful the washing liquid sachets were readily available for use as well as dish washing detergent.

A bit tiring to get to the hotel because of the uphill location. Also, the washing machine was a bit dirty around the rim/rubber.

Handy to city centre and all transport and the great view. thank you for a great stay.
