We used this as a base for four nights, it was a reasonably Quiet location with nice sea views from the breakfast deck, plenty to do with lots of walks, island trips etc within a short drive. Fantastic breakfasts and plenty of local restaurants close by for dinner

The couple that own it are very friendly and courteous. They go out of their way to make you welcome with a snack and wine basket, evening port and chocolates topped with a newspaper during breakfast. The breakfast (included) was a wonderful spread. Room #2 is the biggest with ensuite. The other two are smaller, one with ensuite but facing the back fence while the other requires the main bathroom but does have water views. All are clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities.

Staff couldn't do enough for us. Wine and basket of goodies for us when we arrived. Port and Chocolates left out for us on return from restaurant and the breakfast was fantastic. Thoroughly recommend. XX

This is the best B/B we have stayed at. I wish I had paid the extra to have a sea view. The views were stunning. It was the first time I have stayed at a B/B and received a hamper with Wine cheese nibbles and a complimentary Port and chocolates. The breakfast was exceptional. the best!!!!!!

A lovely relaxing place to spend some time in comfortable surroundings. The hospitality was first class and Carolyn and Joanna catered to our every need in a quiet and unassuming manner. With a delicious breakfast to begin each day, what more could a guest desire?

Personnel very caring. Advice offered (local restaurants etc.) was sincere and accurate. Experience closely akin to staying with friends. Breakfast was outstanding, with guests invited to nominate their choices from a generous array of options.

Internet policy (as we found too often in NZ) was perplexing. "Free wi-fi" came with a card in room requesting that internet be used "only for essential purposes". This detracted from what was a top-shelf property in all other respects.

Very comfortable and nice location handy to Auckland and yet "out of rat race" place to stay. So much to do locally. Great hosts. We were late arriving and yet their welcome was very nice and genuine. Everything that we could want was available - with a smile!

What a wonderful B & B and such good value for money. Arnold made us feel very welcome and provided a generous welome pack (including a bottle of wine!). Breakfast by Carolyn was fabulous. I cannot recommend this too highly.

Extra welcome pack for afternoon tea, bottle of wine to take to dinner. Lots of choice of restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was a wonderful experience! Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and were on hand after breakfast to help us plan our onward journey.

Very friendly and helpful owners who couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. great position close to local facilities and lovely beaches.

Lots of information about the surrounding area and ideas for trips etc. Carolyn and Arnold go out of their way to make you feel welcome in their lovely home. Thank you for looking after us so well!

Nice easy place to stay overnight on the way to our final destination. Our room was small but adequate and having the little deck was nice. The bath across the hall was fine. The breakfast was good. The hosts are attentive and helpful, even setting up a place for us to have our take away for dinner. Good internet. Appreciated the bottle of wine when we arrived.

Bedroom was small and cramped for the 2 of us.

Our hosts were extremely charming and couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. They gave us a gift box of goodies and wine. When we returned for the night, there was port and chocolates left out for us. Breakfast was out of this world. It was across the way to the Manly Village with good restaurants and shops. The beach was a hop skip and a jump away as well as Shakespear Park for longer walks. We thoroughly enjoyed Bayview and would go back.

For those traveling from the airport and heading north, a great spot to stop over without having to travel too far and be ready to launch northward the next day. Run by a couple and it was geographic location as above that attracted us and breakfast was great!

A little hard to find if you dont print off a map and while views are great its a little away from the beach

The location of this B & B suited our business needs very well. We found the owners to be very friendly, and we certainly appreciated the little extras that they had in the room. That was a very nice touch. Breakfast was very nicely served indeed and we both enjoyed our choices veryh much. We would certainly stay again.

Warm friendly welcome and service throughout. A very homely and relaxed place where you are made to feel at home from the moment you walk through the door. The breakfast was quite wonderful, as was the view from the veranda. This is one of the best B&B I have stayed in. It is just a short drive to Shakespear Regional Park with nice walking and lovely views.

All good. The only hassle is booking.com repeatedly asking for my view as to their performance.

De gastvrijheid van de gastvrouw(en) is zeer aangenaam. Super aardige mensen! Het zal je aan niets ontbreken. Inclusief welkomstpakket met hapjes en flesje wijn. Om de hoek zit een lekkere Thai!

Voor een B&B is het wat aan de dure kant.
