Bathroom needed attention to mould on ceilings identified by odour on entrance to the unit.
nice clean tidy motel, handy to everything we needed to do
Location, spa bath, kitchen, good rate.
Shower needs 1x more section on the shower-door to keep the water in and off the floor.
We enjoyed having the unit away from the street there was less street noise.
In the room next door to our unit there was a disruption with occupants shouting and hitting the wall etc. The staff quickly dealt with this, apologised and gave us wine.
The room looked lovely when you first walked in. Comfortable bed.
Reception barely ever open. Watered down shampoo bottles with old children's stickers on them. Bathroom filthy, cobwebs, huge amounts of dust at the top of the shower. Shower leaked. Drain was clogged with hair that I removed myself in order to have a shower.
Was comfortable though
Room wasn't serviced, no one in office, very old looking bathroom products, watered down shampoo!, no milk in fridge, rubbish bin hadn't been emptied from previous guests.
The space/ size of the unit and having 2 double beds and two t.v's.
Internet didn't work first night and office was closed to get it sorted. Was however sorted the next morning.
The room was very comfortable. It was a freezing cold day. The heating was marvelous not like other places I have stayed.
We always use this motel when in Napier because everything is of a very high standard and value for money.
Conveniently located for our purpose. Tidy and clean. Pleased not to spend too much time there though.
Needed a request for a room change due to street noise at front unit. Room very over crowded with uncomfortable couches.
I was thrilled with our stay at the Bella Tuscany. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and they had everything you could want. It's wonderful to have a unit that has a couch, dining table and sleeping areas in a very manageable space. The small touches around the room, eg. throw blanket on the couch, placemats on the table, fruit bowl, and basket for laundry, made you feel like you were set up in a comfortable home away from home. The value for money was second to none. I will definitely be staying here again.
It was very clean, nice and homely, and the showers? OMG! it was like a deep tissue massage- so nice! and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Easy to find and great location to where we needed to go.
My shower went cold on the morning of our last day :/ but the Lady was quick to respond and rectified the issue quick as.
The unit was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. We would definitely stay there again.
Loved the rooms layout.
The kitchen had no tea towels
The young man a the desk and owner were very friendly. Good price.
The room we had smelt strongly of cigarettes, the whole place could do with a spruce up it is looking very tired inside and out side. The entrance wall is becoming very slimey green and the garden has a couple of overgrown unkept lavenders, a shame really as this could still be a very nice motel, I'm not sure how the star rating goes, but I don't feel that this place at the moment should be rated as a four star.I guess the price reflects that as well. The old saying you get what you pay for.
Access to CBD by car and to highway south to Wellington
The cleaner on the morning of our 2nd day, removed our groceries which were on the kitchen bench in a white plastic bag near the over hot plates. When we came back to the motel, the bag and contents were missing. My wife went to the Manager to enquire where they were and he took her to the garbage out on the front street, where our groceries were found. Why wouldn't the cleaner examine the bag first as it was not on the floor. Mgr said that it "happens sometimes".
Great location for us with family in Greenmeadows. Everything scrupulously clean. Great shower. Quiet, even though on a main road. Staff very helpful and friendly.
We booked a studio room, which was excellent value for money, but did find the area for preparing breakfast and tea/coffee very small. Nowhere to wash our own dishes.
A little out of the way but comfortable and clean
Location for my reasons for my visit to napier
Studio unit very small (even for a studio unit) Cobwebs over ceiling in ensuite and bedroom
Good value for money, nice room, comfy bed.
Shower drain was blocked, wifi didn't work.
Lots to see (art deco), and a lovely seafront. Easy to get around, local bus stop just outside Motel.
Very helpful owner
Distance from town centre
Compactness. comfort. Interesting layout esp little mini conservatory. Bed & padded headboard (a nice touch)
Poor soundproofing. Worn easy chair. Overall not as clean as could be. Light bulbs missing.
