Very friendly welcome with useful information about restaurants etc.

Large well equipped room. Very clean Great bathroom and shower

loved how close it was to the main strip of town. The lady (staff) was very helpful, informative and patient. We did check in later in the evening but were grateful for her patience because we were let down from our booking at Hokitika - beachfront hotel. So we had almost 2 hours drive to this great comfortable motel. :)

No sink for washing dishes. Difficult to wash them in a wash basin.

Reception very helpful in finding a phone number on the internet. Motel very clean, bed comfortable and units quiet.

Had to choose bluetop or greentop milk. Cartons only small and for two nights stay would have appreciated one of each rather than have to buy too much of the one not supplied.

Room was rather small.

It was located in the main street yet no street noise. The room was available event though we were early. There was no hassle about obtaining the key and the staff member was friendly. The room was warm and the shower pressure was tremendous. Ample parking. Interesting that a little thing such as a make up cloth could be seen to add value.

The room was the smallest in our whole tour of NZ - we couldnt even comfortably put our two cases into the room. You just could not swing a cat in that room and I definitely will not stay at another Bella Vista based on the size of the room.

You know what to expect with Bella Vista, always consistent. Location was convenient as a stop over on our way up the west coast.

Rooms with a glass wall and sliding glass door on ground level seem a little less private.

Good location for our needs. Friendly, helpful staff/ owners. Excellent parking/access. Warm and comfortable, very comfy bed.
