Our studio apartment at Bianco Off Queen was spotlessly clean, modern, light and airy. Furnishings were very new, with a well equipped bathroom, a queen sized bed with an excellent mattress, and a kitchenette with a microwave, small fridge and dishwasher. The location is in a quiet street, but very centrally located to an excellent range of restaurants in busy Queen St. Excellent value for money.

Location was central, but dislikes overwhelmed any possible likes for the place. My wife was very badly bitten several times in the room and is on medication to stop the inflammation and pain. Location was central but in a dingy sidestreet surrounded by tall buildings so no view. The outlook from the room was horrible. Unfortunately the experience was disappointing and we will not be staying there again.

location The apartment i stayed in had very tasteful furnishing but you can tell it was cheap. The carpets were stained and not just one or two here and there but everywhere. The minute you step inside the lobby area I got a strong body odor smell..... not pleasant! and it seemed to carry on and permeate on level 11 and in my apartment as well..... and no it was not me!!! The following day I walked past a cleaner on the ground floor and he needs to take a bath as the body odor kept on going.... will not stay here again!

Location is fabulous. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. With it being so near the city action it is incredibly quiet and restful. Booking was grat owever despite two calls to the hotel to check all the details the staff did not attend to our requests and rooms appropriate for our family. To be told on checkin that you have booked three beds only. I found it unacceptable that this wasn't sorted out. The fact that the staff have very poor command of the English language didn't help either.

We stayed at Bianco Off Queen on the 6th & 7th July in the 2-room apartment. I'd like to say that we found the apartment very well contained, well-maintained and convenient for our family. We requested for a heater in the apartment & one was brought up promptly for the lounge area. Your staff were very obliging, helpful, polite & cheerful. A big thanks to all of them! I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. There were no heaters in the apartment in July. One was brought up at our request, which we used for the lounge, but there were none in the bedrooms.

the accomodation was excellent. the proximity to Auckland central was excellent.Due to a mistake in the booking our friends stayed in a one bedromm apartment which was really excellent and they loved the room. They were concerned that the noise levels would be excessive but this wasn't the case. Thank you so much for looking after them so well. Unfortunately the booking process was very poor. This is the second time I have stayed at your premises. I booked in exactly the same way I booked the first time. The first time I booked for 4 people and booked an apartment for 4 people with a double bed and two single beds in the other room and I specifically asked for this arrangement again. I booked at least 3 weeks before our stay. There was a mix up and we did not get this apartment. I do appreciate that this problem was rectified and our friends were given a separate one bedroom apartment, however it would be really good to just get the booking right. Also the young man who booked us in ( he may have been in training) didnt seem to know what he was doing very well. One thing that I feel needs better explaination or even written material about is instructions on how to use the lift ( e.g when the swipe key needs to be used). We were down in B2 waiting for the lift for ages( hearing it going past us ) not realising that we needed use the swipe key for the lift to stop at our floor. Also us friends did not have any instructions on how to use the TV in their room. These are such little things but can make a world of difference. However in saying all that I would definitely stay at your hotel again

The only good thing about Bianco off Queens was that you have your own washer and drier and private balcony. Cleanliness was very poor, house keeping didnt make beds or vaccuum. The building felt dirty, hallways were smelly and in need of renovation. Bed was two singles put together.

As always, the convenience of location close to AUT University, reasonable price and professional friendliness and helpfulness of staff. The breakfasts are just the icing on the cake. Some of the rooms have a view of a wall close by. I've had one of those rooms. They really should be cheaper, even when larger.

Well positioned, parking on site and a breakfast selection to start the day with. Very comfortable bed, great shower and suitable cooking facilties if wanted. Good value. The frosted glass window lets in too much light to sleep well. We took down the canvas painting and placed it in front of that window which cut it down by about 60%. Staff were very good but the hotel does not supply tourist information that could be very useful e.g. the Green Link bus stops on Queen street where it is and a map of the route would be great to have. For $1.80 this loop service in Auckland should be one of the things the staff knows about. When we asked the person on reception who was very good with other things she didnt have any knowledge of it.

Relatively close to the city. It was not marketed as a backpaper / budget stay but clearly it was. The rooms were so tiny that I couldn't even find a space for my suitcase! Could not move around the bed. Ridiculously tiny to the point of being claustraphobic. No toilet paper on arrival which I had to ring receptioon for 3 times and waited 25 mins. Was told already delivered ie staff argued with me! Staff not friendly and could hardly speak english. Wouldnt send international fax when the compendium of services said they did. Saw staff arguing with other guests at counter. Would not recommend this apartment.

The price of the apartment was good, although I was hoping I had found a bargain, but as always, you get what you pay for... Breakfast was good. The apartments were fairly modern. This was faulty towers! The bedlinen (duvet) stunk of b/o and it took 4 requests to get it changed, the TV's in the loungeroom are tiny, couch was really uncomfortable, check in was a super crazy long ordeal late at night, recycled paper used to print out confirmation with other customers personal details on it - I said something and they didn't see the problem, my 'city view' was a view of another apartment with sky tower just visible from the end of the balcony, vacum cleaner was broken, I had someone knocking on my door at 9am to remind me of the 10am check out...

The off site gym pass is a great idea. So much better than a few token exercise bikes in a pokey room! The continental breakfast provided was good too. It is located close to the main street of Auckland and plenty of cheap restaurants are nearby. No Airconditioning! There is also a lot of noise in the mornings from trucks across the road. The bed was not great either. Staff were generally polite and friendly but not well organised. Our room was serviced 2 or 3 times some days and not at all on others.

Tzhe appartment was large enough to accomodate myself and two teenage children. It was clean , tidy, and modern. It was well within walking distance of Queen Street, and facilities like buses and trains, movie theatres, restaurants and shops. The apartment was like home away from home, and being on the outskirts of the centre city it was well placed to be able to access all of the city functions as above. It was very quiet, no street noise as slightly off the main street. Very nice accomodation !!

The rooms where big enough to be able to relax in without being cramped. The washing machine and dryer are an awesome idea, although I wasn't there long enough to need to use them. Location perfect for what we wanted. The lack of places to park while checking in, I realise it's the city but was annoyed to nearly get our car towed. I notice that they carparks opposite that belong to Hp don't get used much, would they rent you the space on weekends and evenings, if people only parked there for 5 minutes while they checked in?

Clean and the staff were very helpfull. Some of the cleaners need to use deoderant more often. Location of hotel is not the best given the surrounding streets! The double bed was 2 singles pushed together so a hard ridge in the middle. The studio we stayed in had a door to the next room - not very soundproof when babies cry next door!

Nice, responsive staff. Well appointed room with a washing machine and a kitchenette. Room well-kept. Good location. The interconnecting door in the room couldn't be locked from the room, resulting in a fear for a possible security breach. The safe was not bolted to the wardrobe but could be lifted off.

The best thing about our visit to Bianco Off Queen Apartments was the friendliness and warmth of the people who work there. They could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The room is compact and very serviceable and the hotel is in a convenient location if you want to be in the city. Cheers, tonda
