Set on 33 acres of native gardens, Birds Ferry Lodge offers accommodation with private patios overlooking the mountains and Totara Valley. The property features beautiful ponds and massage services. Birds Ferry Lodge & Ferry Mans Cottage is 15 minutes’ drive from Westport. Paparoa National Park and the Heaphy Track at Kahurangi National Park are each a 20-minute drive away. The Queen Rooms include a refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. Guests have access to a communal jacuzzi and a cosy lounge with leather sofas and a fireplace. The Cottage contains a fireplace and full kitchen and laundry facilities. It includes a flat-screen TV, an iPod dock and a DVD player. It also features a private garden with 2 outdoor bathtubs. De ligging is prachtig. De bedden zijn heerlijk, alsof je in een nest ligt. Wij hebben daar de maaltijd genoten en dat was een lekkere maaltijd tegen een redelijke prijs. Ook het ontbijt is super royaal. Ik vind de prijs iets aan de hoge kant. Verder geen negatieve punten.

Alison & Andre are excellent hosts and have created a beautiful retreat. Gourmet breakfast, spotless hot tub and a serene location make this a truly delightful B&B. Stay here if you can!
