It was so peaceful and quiet. Denise, our host, was a delight! Freshly baked bread, milk and butter in the refrigerator were indicators of the thoughtfulness in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Quaint little town.
Quaint little town. Where we stayed in the town everything was at our finger tips, ie. easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, takeaways, parks, easy access to the expressway north & south etc. We will come back to Cambridge.

Cambridge is lovely quaint town that has a relaxed "Old English" charm [yes it also has it's own "Queen Street"] that embraces visitors wishing to explore and experience new adventures [especially cycling related - eg river trails, cycling races/tours/champs and the Avantidrome for track cyclists] whilst enjoying a variety of local cafes, eateries, bars and restaurants etc [check out the yummy turkish pitas/wraps at Kebabelicious down town]. It's very easy to navigate and get around a predominantly flat landscape by bike, foot or car. And to get there from Warkworth [just 2.5-3 hr trip now] is even easier now that the new motorway takes you to and through Auckland on to the speedy 110 kph Waikato expressway which then takes you right into the heart of Cambridge from the 2nd exit ramp [next after the Avantidrome one] via a lovely straight road past Amazon's huge spaceship-like distribtution centre - nga mihi nunui [many thanks] Cambridge - see you again real soon !! :-)

Very cute little town. Not a lot to do here but we just used it to sleep over for an event in Te Awamutu.
We stayed at the Top 10 Holiday Park which we found to be very tidy and clean for a camp ground. Would highly receommend it.
Our favourite restaurant was Hanoi Boy. The service and food were exceptional.

The room needed to be opened up and aired out before guests arrived it smelt bad when walked in. Some flyspray for the ants would be good... we used a bit of pepper and that seemed to work. The couch and dining chairs were very uncomfortable and need to be upgraded. The bed was hard and lumpy and did not sleep well..There are some birds that may be nesting on ..in..or close to the roof...that were very loud in the morning and woke us up. The TV was small and where placed was hard to watch from the couch.

The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed. Nice shop owners.
The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed. Nice shop owners. Nice open park areas and interesting shops and exhibitions. Very friendly and helpful staff in the information centre. Good variety of restaurants and food available.
In a quiet rural location, the lodging was a wonderful place to stay while exploring the area around Cambridge and Hamilton. With 2 bedrooms, we had space to spread out. Our host was welcoming (with fresh bread and fruit) and helpful. The place was spotless with a huge bathroom. There were plenty of fruit trees in the yard for those interested...and cows, sheep and horses just down the driveway.
While the location was central to so much to do on the north island, the scenery at the house was amazing. The room was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the host, Robyn, was friendly, personable, and engaging. She had a great suggestion for dinner in Cambridge which was a delightful city to walk around in. Highly recommend Karapiro Willows for anyone looking at activities around the area.
Everything.
Wonderful hosts, who went over & above to make our stay pleasurable. With information on the area & home made breakfast items.
We had a very comfortable room with a most adequate ensuite bathroom. Location was quiet, & 10’-15’ drive to Cambridge for restaurants.
John suggested going to Hamilton Gardens on our way to Auckland, which we really enjoyed.
Home away from home! A beautiful room with access to the beautifully landscaped backyard that includes a hot tub and fire pit. A nice continental breakfast is provided and a mini bar for your convenience. There is a golf course nearby and a cafe across the street at the campground. It's a ten minute drive to restaurants in Cambridge.
We stayed in a shared part of the main house - it's large and roomy for a family. It's been a grand old place in it's day and has lovely bones...the beds were comfy.
Coming back from dinner in Cambridge on wet dark winters night the sign is well lit and driveway also nicely lit and looks inviting....beautiful grand trees and setting.
Great find in Cambridge. Beautiful building. Nice large room, spotless and nice new bathroom. The couple hosts are very welcoming. They gave us some ideas on fun places to stop on our way to Matamata. Breakfast was amazing, with coffee ,tea, juice and a variety of breakfast items. Highly recommended.
Beautiful old “guest house” close to the town & shops. The room we stayed in was large and comfortable with an excellent en suite. Our host was friendly and welcoming. The “continental” breakfast was delicious. We’ll definitely stay again should we visit Cambridge.
It was close to all amenities.

This holiday park is a Gem. Not many left around the Waikato. Good on you Cambridge 👍
What ever you fancy in terms of camping this is the park to go to. I use this camping ground mainly for rest and for time out on my days off from work and I so love it.
Great location between Hamilton &Cambridge but in a very quiet , rural location, yet close to SH1.Nice little kitchenette for a do- it- yourself breakfast. Ingredients provided. Perhaps some fresh fruit would have made it better still
Loved the location - very central to Cambrige within walking distance to everything (even a movie theatre), love the lake walk that the Hotel overlooked. Very clean. Comfy beds and a beautiful outlook over mature trees.
Our host was welcoming and very attentive to all our needs. The accommodation was like a 5star experience and would definitely have no hesitation in recommending the Cambridge retreat to all future guests.
Lovely town. Great for walk along main street and the lake if you're keen. Situated right in town centre and convenient for all amenities. Love Cambridge. Thanks for hosting us. 😀
Beautiful rural location , a short drive to all the places we wanted to visit in and around Cambridge. ‘Barn’ is fantastically set up with everything we needed for a great stay .
