Awesome location, friendly staff, super clean. We had a lovely overnight stay
Little bit noisy with some guests having a wee sing along/shout-a-thon from the car park to their rooms but not really a big issue
good location hotel but wouldn't choose to stay here again,
patrons at the sports bar on the two nights left a lot to be desired and should not have been served drinks, hence a fight in the bar, Volume of the bands out of control, no consideration to other patrons or people staying in hotel
Location Seaside view bar Comfortable bed very clean
If everything working… good value 4 money
Hand soap dispenser not working, pubic hair in bath
We had to wait 45 minutes for our meal, it was very quite only 6 people in the restaurant. I ordered king prawn ceaser salad. salad greens were warm, egg was poached, not hard boiled, croutons were all soft, prawns were lovely. My husbands meals was lovely
Enjoyed the hotel staff were very helpful
Sorry we didn't have any problems
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the Staff were very professional. I would stay again and recommend it.
Marina views from private balcony are always pretty. Good beds, spacious room. Michaela on reception extremely helpful and professional with organising dinner.
Chose this hotel on the basis it's one of the few in Napier with a restaurant. The restaurant was closed on a Friday night with no notification on website (booked same day) or at check-in. Called reception to enquire why, at 8pm, we couldn't reach them, to find that reception didn't know the restaurant was closed. Was advised this would be taken up with the owner (Rodney) who would call. Still waiting. Can only assume he's very busy with court proceedings.
The room was nice
The daily room servicing. No cleaning and supplies not replenished. Bed pulled up but not made. But you get what you pay for and room rate was cheap. If we had paid more I would have been disappointed
The bathroom products including towels and face cloths came with the room and didn't cost. There was enough to go around. It was clean and tidy and also comforting.
The door and key wouldn't work the seconde and third time around, but eventually a man came to fix it. Glad it didn't happen during the night because know one wouldn't have been there to help and i would have been locked out all night. The beds were a bit annoying because they weren't stable and kept rolling all over the room. When i checked out the women at the reception didn't remind me of my $100 bond that i had to reclaim back, so i had to come all the way back to the hotel to collect it. Wasn't happy at all because she knew i forgot it. The trick with the food and drinks in the fridge is a good idea but i did not like.
Location views spaciousness separate toilet
lack of toiletries: only a wall hung - soap container- no tissues etc. over spa bath shower no drinking glasses in bathroom bar advertised: closed at 8.15pm restaurant closed at 8.30pm. Lots of threatening notices re noise/ visitors etc
Facilities are tired. No lighting in kitchen alcove. Bathroom needs refreshing. Lighting poor in main area, we had to lie on bed to read. Decoder poised on top of TV not a good look. Breakfast choices lacking.
Clean and tidy, perfect except the bathroom.
Nice that there was a spa bath, but for getting in and out of the hand rail was not in a easy to reach spot as the handbasin was right there as you stepped out. The height was way to high and since there was no shower curtain the water went all over the fall making the tiles slippery. Design not well thought out. And the drain was where the old shower was so anything left on the floor got soaking as the water bubbled up.
good view and very quite .
excellent views great location
split upstairs/downstairs unit
Comfortable bed. It was the quietest motel I have ever stayed in.
Apmt 43, two huge bedrooms, lovely, tidy and warm, good outlook, bar and restaurant great. We thought all round the facilities were wonderful. They ugraded us so thankyou. Service was pleasant and we were travelling with our child so enjoyed the golf.
Carol on reception was extremely helpful and friendly and we loved having a hot tub in the bedroom, plus the room and balcony was lovely
This is a very good motel to stay in. We enjoyed the location and intend returning sometime to relax and enjoy some of the local cafes.
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was very pleasurable and clean. The view out to the port was nice.
That there wasn't another sink in our room. We weren't very keen on filling our jug from the bathroom taps.
The location is great for active people. Room service friendly.
The garden bar was dirty with construction material lying around like no one uses it.
The couches. And view
There was a fecies mark in the toilet and a big toe nail under the chair in bedroom.
50+ Sky Channels .. facilities
The view of the marina.
The noise of the fish plant next door. The noise of the fridge. The TV controls were "messy".
