Room is very clean and comfortable. Hotel location is not far from the center.
No but a very minor thing better to improve: Suggest to have clear explain that hotel have lunch and dinner dishesin the bill, otherwise cause confusion when payment needed.
Staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Good location for historic sites and harbor area.
Room was well appointed for the business traveller, but had very little character or charm.
Friendly helpful staff.
Room sizes, and location are good.
The price seemed to double for one nights stay as the hotel reached capacity with the cricket, so very expensive for one night!
Very helpful staff; very well equipped room (classic suite); excellent housekeeping.
TV channels very limited despite rooms described as having SKY; No blanket - bed covering (rug?) too short for bed and not effective in keeping you warm; Hotel directory on in-room iPad not up to date despite it being boasted as innovative for an easy updating capability; WiFi free but unstable.
Great staff, lovely decor, comfortable beds.
The internet was very slow.
The friendliness and professionalism of the staff. As someone who is transgender I appreciated being given the same care and attention as any other guest without any awkwardness or embarrassment.
Just the wifi in my room was playing up a bit.
Excellent breakfast Very good service Friendly staff
Insufficient hanging space for clothes. Small room
Great room and facilities Excellent breakfast Strong WiFi signal Helpful staff
The hotel is tucked away near the botanical gardens. Great place for a late afternoon walk after a day at work. Then a short walk to the waterfront for dinner. The staff were always friendly and helpful. A really pleasant stay.
Only complaint I can think of was housekeeping often very late in the afternoon and had to sit in the foyer till they were finished.
Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean and tidy
We ordered breakfast after our first night and had to wait 50 minutes for two poached eggs on toast and an eggs benedict and the restaurant wasn't even that busy.
Upgrade!! On arrival our suite was upgraded, suite was amazing, you could like it to two bedroom two bath apartment superbly furnished, outstanding.
Had dinner at the hotel restaurant. They were under staffed and service was slow. Overall disappointing.
I love the location and design
Great location, helpful staff
Very spacious, excellent shower & a large comfortable bed. Excellent service from all staff.
Nice rooms, cleaners did our dishes which I didn't expect but was really nice. Staff really well trained and helpful with bus timetables and knowledge about the city
Wifi wasn't working fast enough or at all in the bedroom, had to sit in the kitchen area to use it.
Very modern and clean. Nice sofas in room. Kitchenette was very well stocked. Bed very comfy.
Wifi in room was poor/almost unusable. Swimming pool area was not very clean. Grime line around the pool level and hairs in the swimming pool changing rooms. This area needs more cleaning more often. The hotel needs to employ more staff for reception.
This is by far the best central property in Wellington with generous rooms and exceptional staff
Your room service evening meals were very poor value. You charge $29.00 for really bad food. The portions were small and when we ordered we were told they were satisfactory and we didn't need sides. Well, check out the pulled pork dish and see how satisfied you'd be after eating that. I had what your menu said was sausages with a mash and kale and caramelised onion. I got 1 sausage so I think you misrepresented this by saying sausages on the menu, which was dry and pretty tasteless. The mash, which I thought would have been potato was some sort of white beans, if kale was on the plate it wasn't visible and I can only assume that the caramelised onions were in the mash, It was a small portion and a really big rip off for $29.00. We ordered 7 meals (room 707) and we were all disappointed and wished we'd made the effort to go out and get some takeaways. So despite liking your facilities and your staff, I won't be a repeat customer for this reason.
Quickest checkin and checkout. Prompt service and very friendly and helpful staff.
Great Location and Kitchen.. very neat and tidy
We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite which was excellent. Had a separate lounge and bedroom with a fully equipped kitchen including a washer/dryer. Hotel very clean with good facilities . Breakfast was included in the deal and the quality of food on offer was great. Hotel was situated in the business district so is a little way out of the tourist area but it was still walkable. We walked to the Te Papa Museum and then to the cable car and walked back down to the hotel via the Botanical gardens. the weather was not to good ( cold and windy) we decided to eat at the hotel one night, again food was excellent and not to expensive. Would recommend this hotel for a stay in Wellington.
Nothing to dislike about our stay here apart from the weather, but that's not the hotels fault !!!
Facilities in the room
Wifi hit and miss bed a bit hard.
Upgraded with a smile
Parking in public carpark.
Love the lap pool was a great way to start the morning. Very close where our daughter is living in Stafford House so worked well for us. An easy walk into Courtney place and the shops.
Even though I turned the air conditioning off at night it still made quite a bit of noise. Not sure if I did it right. Plus I am a very light sleeper so noise is an issue.
