Boutique Motel  

it was a cosy welcoming motel. Nicky was very friendly and helpful. the room was well designed and the bathroom was big and clean with a good strong shower.

We liked a nice decor and cleanliness of the room .

A small motel 10-15 min drive from the city centre, definitely not a walking distance. We spent a Saturday night in the motel and could not sleep until 2 am due to loud music coming from a bar across the street. We had to carry our luggage two flats of stairs to get to our room.

Excellent facilities in the apartment.

Ver modern, clean room with great little kichen and free wifi. A little far from downtown Nelson so a car is handy to take that in which is definitely worthwhile. There is shopping area with resruarants and shops close by. The owner was very frienly and helpful.

The hotel is set well back off the road. The rooms were atractively furnished and comfortable with a separate bedroom for our daughter. At first the kitchen did not look too well equipped but things like an electric grill are readily available from reception if needed. Overall, the Boutique Motel provided very good value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Kitchen area is slightly cramped for preparing cooked meals. However, it is fine for preparing cold meals or a light breakfast.

Initially I was really disappointed with this Motel but only because up until this point of my trip I had stayed in amazing hotels with fabulous views of lakes, bays and mountains and this Motel is on a main road with views of the police station! However, that is totally unfair as the owners were very friendly and helpful and the room itself, whilst small, was very well equipped and had obviously been recently decorated. I stayed 3 nights and in the end had a really nice stay - it is conveniently located across from a supermarket and only a 30 minute drive from Abel Tasmin national park - really nice stay in the end and the owner's pet cat coming to say hello is also a lovely touch!

Easy access to beach shops etc

Very personable hosts who kept the small room spic and span and provided no room for any complaints.

This has to be the cleanest place we've come across. Also picked up great tip to purchase Enjo cleaning cloths!

Our studio could have been a bit bigger for a 3 day stay, but then again I booked our standard studio....

Quite far from nelson centre. Also booking with booking.com doesn't seem to include room service.

We have stayed there twice before, that is why we came back again.

Even though the outside can be very deceiving, we found the room very acceptable. The host was very friendly and more than willing to give us information. The motel was easy to find and near a small shopping area.

Because my husband has bad knees, we found the stairs very hard to handle while dragging heavy suitcases.

Very friendly hosts. Studio is not the largest, but stylish and was absolute clean. Quiet location, while still near to shops, restaurants and Nelson. Simply value for money!

I didn't realise there were smaller pillows in the cupboard so the only thingIi didn't like were the big pillows - my fault not the motel.

The proprietors were really friendly & helpful. The room was compact, clean and tidy. If the need arose we would certainly stay there again.

We spent three nights here. It is an excellent motel. Very clean fresh modern motel with all the facilities you need. Free wifi and parking. Motel owners were both very friendly and helpful. Excellent base for exploring the Nelson region.

The owner was very friendly, helpful, went out of her way to assist us and recommended restaurants according to our preferences. We felt personally welcome, like friends. Can wholeheartedly recommend this Motel.

More than we expected here. We were even upgraded to a better class room. Great accommodating staff, very helpful. Owners worked and lived there to keep an eye on things. Every little detail was taken care of. We would stay again.

We liked everything except we had to haul our bags up the steps. There is no lift to the second floor.
