Convenient location, close to city centre and in walking distance of good shops and bars/restaurants. Nice clean rooms, quite spacious and felt nice and private. Perhaps a wee bit over priced for what it was. Valet parking very expensive too. |

The positive attitude of all staff made one feel most welcome. The room was comfortable, clean and very quiet. The breakfast was excellent. I found the lift down to Lambton Quay really useful. |

The staff were friendly and informative about the surrounding area. The rooms were well presented and clean. There was no outside noise and the room had a decent view of the harbour. Overall it was a nice, comfortable stay and good value for money. |

The staff & facilities were great. The breakfasts were fab, can't fault it not the hotel, but we had an experience of being trapped in stair well which lead to the carpark which also served as a fire exit in case of fire as the lift in arcade didn't work on a sat after 8pm, but the hotel never said. No sign on door to stairs to indicate door locks behind you. No sign on lift or arcade doors to indicate need to use James Cook Hotel lift. |

Good location, well appointed, well run, ideal for any length of stay in Wellington. Would stay there again no complaints at all. |

We appreciate little amenities like the bowl of apples. Small gestures of generosity go a long way with us. |
