Budget friendly and clean. If you are after a clean bed & shower for the night thats all good.

Another door access for staff through a corrindor running inbetween rooms (centre of building). Old smelling could do with an uplift in the rooms.

only door entrance to unit could be a tripping hazard as it is raised up. since I arrived at night and it was dark.

Was clean but more attention to detail would help. Poor insulation, noise from other units especially above.

We had such a warm and comfortable room, so nice to return to a cosy bed. All facilities were clean and tidy. Love the location of The Carrington Motel very handy to town. Economical and comfortable A+

The room service did and excellent job with the bed - beautiful.

We were there 2 nights. The floor needed a vacuum after the first day. The hair dryer did not work (I have already told Carrington that with the paper survey when we left). The bed could have done with an electric blanket to meet the cold snap.

I liked the friendly warm welcome, I also liked how flexible the owners were in every way possible they made my family feel very comfortable and even helped the wedding party make it to my brothers wedding on time. The owners are legends and well be returning to Carrington motel every time we visit new plymouth from now on. Thanks Guys you 'ROCK'.

A friendly welcome from Wendy, who was kind enough to pop over when I rang from my room later to enquire about Wifi (which they have). Clean & comfortable, and good value for money. A friendly visiting cat too!

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are spacious and offer good value.

If you are a light sleeper, you may want to ask for an upper floor unit, as some noise may be heard from upstairs.

Sorry but the spare pillows were so crinkly, they just weren't comfortable.

10 min walk to centre of town , Plenty of car parking. Quiet part of town

Only 200 meg of Internet for free, I could smell some ones cooking in my room.

Nice spacious room.

Really like the service at this motel. The reception guy is very friendly. I feel at home when I stay there. I booked a single room but was upgraded to the family unit, so spacious. Free Wifi of 200 MB for one night is another reason I will suggest that price. Quite close to town around 20 minutes walking distance.

Nothing the web site needs updating.

I loved the beautiful bush that backed the motel, waking to bird song was wonderful. It was close to Pukekura Park which was a real treat. The room itself was well set out and very user friendly, the beds were very comfortable too. Great place to stay,
