Overlooking the beautiful Lake Taupo, Chantillys Lodge offers heated accommodation with private balconies and flat-screen satellite TV. Chantillys Motor Lodge is located in the heart of the Taupo town centre, just 8 minutes’ drive from the famous Huka Falls. Wairakei International Golf Course is a 10-minute drive away. All rooms include a DVD player and free Wi-Fi internet access. Each room has a microwave, refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms also have a spa bath. Close to town - could walk to cafes and restaurants. Staff were helpful in recommending restaurants for dinner. Spa bath in room, nice and relaxing. Clean, warm and cosy. Roadside rooms quite noisy with traffic when windows were open - particularly with hotrod convention in town.

Friendly, excellent service, . Comfortable and very quiet unit in spite of Lodge being fully booked, excellent TV, clean, and very good shower,. Enjoyed the pool and close to shops and Lake.

I did not stay, but our friends and my husband did as they went to a concert... Comments from them was it was a thousand percent better then the one we stayed in last year...you chose will

Very friendly staff and willing to help when asked for advice. Bathroom super clean and unit very spacious and well presented. Quiet location and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Would stay there again.

The motel was clean and tidy staff were ok but not over friendly. The bath in the room was novel. I thought it was a little over rated and over priced compared to other motels/hotels we stayed at in New Zealand. It's locations didn't really warrant the extra money either as New Zealand is a lovely country and all the hotels we stayed at had nice views etc.

Friendly professional reception. Cleaners were friendly and welcoming too. Rooms were clean and comfortable. No air con or ceiling fan.

I must say how helpful they were - we had a late booking for the Taupo Bike Race - chanced on cancellation. Arrived early but room ready :) place was packed but they seemed to cope with the mass of people coming and going and we didn't feel overcrowded at any time - room wasn't too noisy. The one fantastic bonus was allowing us a late checkout next day when I asked - allowing us to tramp up to Huka Falls - THANKS!! Really made the weekend for us! We could walk everywhere - will most definitely be back! Please pass on my comments if you can!

I liked that it was close to town and that the staff wer really friendly and they helped us with what we wanted and also we asked for an upgrade and they wer happy to do so.

Chantillys is centrally situated in a quiet area just a block or so back from the main highway. It is very clean and modern with good facilities, and has secure parking. We had a lovely view of Lake Taupo from our own private balcony. The managers are very friendly and helpful. We intend to stay there again in the future and highly recommend it to all. There was nothing we disliked..
