City Lodge (Backpackers) Accommodation  

酒店位置很难找，房间简陋，可以理解大城市物价高但这个淡季住这里真的不划算.连寄存行李都拒绝.以后不会入住.

Location.

The heat in our room was unreal..it was colder in the hallway and we were unable to open the windows back to let air into the room. It was a pity as it really took away from our experience...can only imagin what it would be like in summer!!

it was very clean everythingyou need for a short stay, would stay again a lot nicer than a normal backpackers accomadation

over looking the other accomadatoin ,also a shelf in the shower would be nice

Good value for money, clean and good central location.

The double bed would've been difficult for two people - ie no access for one person except to climb over the other.

Quiet location (relatively speaking) only a few minutes' walk from the Skytower, shopping area and waterfront. Rooms are small but very clean, and each has an en-suite shower room, tv, fridge and kettle. There's a common room and extensive cooking facilities in the basement so City Lodge neatly bridges the gap between budget hotel and backpackers, at a reasonable rate for its location.

The mattress was very lumpy - I had a double to myself, it would have been a nightmare for two. Also the bed was in an alcove so you could only get into bed on one side.

Good value

Our room had a wonderful view of the city, especially at night when the buildings were illuminated, but it wasn't just buildings - there was plenty of greenery from street trees and parks too. Eco-friendly toiletries were provided for our use as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Having a frig in our room was an unexpected bonus. The communal kitchen, dining and living area was excellent. The location is close to the city with restaurants and cafes a short walk away and a convenience store across the road.

Nice and close to the city - a perfectly adequate room and met all needs.

Expensive for a budget room.

Great for what we needed (one night), close to town and at a reasonable price. Liked the late(ish) at 10.30am!

We thought the room would get quite hot but it wasn't uncomfortable. The bathroom window opened on to the 'kitchen' window, so both couldn't be opened too far at the same time.

It was in a great location and was close enough to downtown to walk or take the free red bus. The shared kitchen was large and provided ample room for cooking our meals. Being able to complete our laundry was also a bonus.

WiFi was expensive and not reasonably priced.

Staff always helpul. Good location. Very basic but Excellent value.

Our windows were open so along with fresh air we got a bit of city noise, nothing excessive.

I had a bad experience with one of the staff members she was un- ccoperative and very unfriendly. It was a pity that the girl had no manners!!
