Great location, comfortable beds, overall a nice hotel!
Hotel decor looking a bit tired, needs a freshen up.
It was clean .It was close to everything in city. Had a great time.
Location size of apartment
confusion about overflow parking
Convenience of location
Finding the hotel. Poor signage
The location in Wellington is fantastic in the central shopping area. The staff and facilities were good.
The room was not cleaned properly. The cleaners do not look up to dust and see cobwebs over the bed head.
Very dark at the bottom of the hotel - no natural light. Photos were deceptive (possibly of a different room) as our room was darker and appeared older and shabbier than the photos indicated. Paying $20 a night for parking on top of the room rates is ridiculous, especially when we had to park in a Wilson car park building and not on the hotel site!
The location was fabulous and access to the hotel easy. The staff where exceptional. They were helpful and very friendly. Our room had to be cleaned quickly because of a late checkout before us but despite this we found that it was spotless.
The bathroom could have done with a little bit of maintenance. The dryer was old and noisy. We needed more crockery in the kitchen. There were 4 of us and we had only just enough cups and plates which meant doing dishes all the time. If we had more we could just load up the dishwasher once a day. These were only minor issues though and didn't detract from the overall experience.
Good and central to city and other locations, our suite was nice and spacious to relax in after an outings. Good kitchen facilities. Been able to do our washing was great.
No view from our room, but wasn't too much of an issue.
Clean Well located Good Wi-Fi Good Kitchen Helpful staff
Not having elevator access from the 6th to the 7th floor. Reception staff appeared to be overly busy and rushed at times. Similar fares to other more comfortable hotels.
Very clean, comfortable, well equipped, location (in the heart of shopping, restaurant areas), easy access by car from ferry terminal as well as highway
That an executive 2 bedroom was at the back of the building looking at a wall.. Parking is on a 1st in 1st served basis.
We had a 2 bedroom suite which offered plenty of space for our 2 young kids. And the kitchen and laundry facilities allowed us to function as a family.
The room was at the back of the hotel and backed onto a large wall (the Terrace) which was the height of the hotel. So, very dark during the day.
Friendly staff Great location
Spacious and comfortable rooms. Really nice feature having a washing machine available in the bathroom too. Reception desk service very good and thoughtful esp. in offering for us to leave our bags after checking out to attend meetings in Wellington and called for a cab to take us to the airport later in the afternoon. CityLife was recommended by a collegue and I will also highly recommend it to others.
room is perfect, facilities are perfect. 100mb for wi fi is a joke :((
They have very small parking. public parking is available around, and not free. Very tricky payment method, where you pay untill 7am, after you have to come back! To pay further. We had a ticket due to this..
Excellent location, spacious and quiet apartment. Very comfortable bed.
Parking is at a public car park near the hotel. It is tricky getting out of the car space at the entrance of the hotel. One way only, and you have to reverse out. Best to park in the street and walk over.
size of the room, lots of space, comfortable, clean. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, dining room was so comfortable to be there. great location
nothing. All was excellent
The location was good
Our room was half under ground. Very dark, no window second bedroom or bathroom. Deceptive Internet charges.
Nothing in particular which would ever make me recommend.
Difficulty in parking to unload luggage. Staff poor customer service . Accoodation very tired and outdated.
When asked the staff moved me to another room
The room on L3 next to the gym - the bedroom headboard backs onto the gym - considering the gym opens at 6 am daily I would have been extremely unhappy if I had paid for the room and been woken up by treadmills or weights being dropped on the floor - consider rearranging the room to have the bedroom away from the gym.
Good bed, decent decor
Not easy to find; parking is tough, facilities are quite ordinary
Why oh why is Wifi always extra. this should be included. Mind you the speed was very good. Cooked Christmas dinner which was a bit of an achievement with only two cooker rings and limited utensils.
The location is fantastic right in the heart of town.
The hotel is in such need of an overhaul - our room has so much not working that we would have needed maintenance there all the time. Airconditioner was broken, tv in our room didn't work, shelf in door of fridge was broken which meant lying milk on it's side, which kept leaking all through the fridge. The apartment was very old and looked grotty. Parking was a problem. The worst accomodation that I've stayed in for years. Staff were very friendly.
Location Good Kitchen supply Full milk pak
Location is excellent if you like downtown districts and shopping.
Lights were burned out in room. Told staff two times. Room was very old and smelled very dusty. Room temperature on arrival was really hot too.
