Location & friendly staff
Towels dirty in room
location staff attitude
room space is quite small
very comfortable and clean with very friendly staff and great location for the CBD
Good location, with parking on site
Our Room (room 18) was dark and smelled musty (like there had been a flood)... there is nothing worse than being woken up by the smell!! Room 18 felt it was like the farthest room away from reception (worse room in the hotel?). Would not book again.
Very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. We even found a complementary bottle of wine left in our room after they found out the reason for out stay!!! The location is great for being within walking distance to eateries, bars and the casino
you have to pay to leave your car in the parking when it's actually all for free on the street after 6pm. Wifi is 10$ and only works on one device, but just out of the hotel door and in the whole city centre you get unlimited wifi for free bathroom was pretty small, it was almost hard to get out of the shower without hitting anything
Great position, clean tidy and helpful staff
Was smell not good Exeter fofopark a care exter for net light of room was broeak
The location was great, but couldn't have a wine as there were no wine glasses and all we wanted to do was have a couple of wines with a friend, relax and then enjoy a night out on the town, but we couldn't even invite a friend over after 9. So if you want to have a good time in a hotel within the cbd, choose another. The room was small and not near as nice as what it looked like online.
Location was central to town
The visit to the Sudima was part of a whirlwind 8 day trip to 3 north island towns so it was easy to compare. Whereas the other 2 places I stayed at provided parking and WiFi services free, the Sudima charged extra for these. Also the staff were very abrupt and almost rude in their communications. I will definitely not be recommending it to family and friends.
I was absolutely shocked at the Sudima. There were so many aspects that were horrific from the phone not working in the room to call reception, fire alarm not working in my room, unattentive staff, lack of interest to their customers to the general overall tiredness of the hotel. I would never stay at a Sudima Hotel again and would never recommend it to anyone.
Looked like a tired hostel room. Heat pump vent & broken drain pipe kept me up most of the night. No hair dryer in the room. Noisy guests returning late at night.
I was able to swap rooms for a bath, courteous and helpful staff, a good location.
The access from the carpark, I had to roll my case all the way around to the block to the reception. It has obviously been repainted but there was paint on the windows etc .. not a good finish.
New shower and toilet area which was clean. Good pressure in the shower.
Bit tired appearance in rooms but still comfortable.
That I should have made the booking with the hotel and not gone through this site
Missing out on the hotels specials like breakfast and parking and we asked the site for both and was told that it was not avaliable with the rm we booked
Ease of Check In and Check Out.
No problems experienced
Location was fantastic, we could walk everywhere for food and entertainment.
Cleanliness of our room was very poor. Someone's hair on the bed (did they change the bedding?). There was a great big blood stain down the front of the loo, my partner noticed it in the morning so I left a note for the cleaner (left this by the toilet in plain view) we got back to our room and the ugly stain was still there. Went to complain to reception and no one was there, I thought it may have been an stubborn stain, hard to remove. Because I had to go to the loo I cleaned it myself, I used some hand sanitizer and hot water on toilet tissue. It wiped off easily. This was so gross and disappointing I paid 250 in total for 2 nights to have to clean this grossness myself? Not good:(
Staff were friendly, our room was very clean, and the big huge bed was lovely and comfortable. Handy location too.
Our room was on the street side and if I hadn't had ear plugs in my toiletry bag sleep would have been completely impossible due to the noise from outside. I've travelled fairly extensively and this was perhaps the noisiest hotel room I've ever stayed in.
Sudima was a very elegant hotel. It's old unique character was still in tact but showed a modern twist. We enjoyed its convenience of being walking distance from everything in the CBD. Rooms were designed beautifully. Staff were friendly. Would defenitely stay there again.
Fantastic location, friendly staff, good size apartment.
A bit noisy at night from about 3am - not sure if it was trolleys going up and down the hallway.
Around dinner time whilst my friend and I were getting ready to go out, one of the staff members tried to enter the room. They 'swiped' the door and tried the handle but we shouted that we were in the room. We called reception to notify them and then they admitted to is they had wanted to see if we were in the room to confirm an admin error!! What about knocking first or even calling the room!!!!
clean room, well located close to city amenities and conference centre - all within easy walking distance, plenty of good restaurants nearby.
room very noisy overnight from the sound of the air conditioners running. Room very cold - heat pump worked fine but too noisy to run during the night, over the top of the air conditioning noise. Asked for a spare blanket but took two days to have one left in my room for me.
Very comfortable. Small things that needed attention were dealt with promptly by very friendly staff. location for virtually everything is ideal
Although it didn't affect us as we did not wish to cook, the kitchen is poorly equipped with kitchen utensils and also no microwave either
I used this hotel to stay over night on a Saturday. As we were heading to town, the night staff on reception were very good to us. The location was perfect for me, as its in central Hamilton by a number if restaurants. I will deffently stay here again. As the place was clean and tidy and I didn't have a issue.
When I arrived I had left my credit card at home not realising I would need it and got asked to pay extra $100, I didn't have the extra money and refused although they said I would get it back in the morning. This was soon resolved as they let me call my parents and explain and they gave me my credit card number :)
