* Fireplace was fantastic after a days skiing * Short walk to town (just be aware its up a fairly steep hill) * Nice modern facilities * Secure car park
* Guest book advised room would be serviced every three days and this did not happen during our 5 night stay. This was the only downside but quite a big one.
Location and layout of apartment.
Small garage, No bath and the dishwasher broke wine glasses:( oh and noisy fridge.
The size of the Apartment and layout were perfect. An added advantage was that each bedroom had it's own ensuite. Beautifully furnished and fantastic views out to the lake.
Cleaners did amazing job staff were friendly at reception Heaps of room, big kitchen
only thing i could suggest is that mantra apartments have a drying room... but you can hang stuff on the air conditioner :)
Cleaning - not cleaning service during my 4 days stay. annoying after day 3.
View. The furniture and outlay of the apartment. The location. The place was really nice and spacious. Supplied Wi-Fi. Good laundry. Good price. Would definitely book there again.
Only basic kitchen supplies. No dish brush an only 4 large plates/ bowls when we were a party of 6. But plenty of cups. the bath was very small and hard to get into, but at least there was a bath. Would have been nice to have a drying rack to put ski gear and washing on.
Nothing it was all good
Although some tiny issues go wrong with room facilities, such as broken light bulb above dinning table, broken dish washer, still the stunning view the room offers are good enough to do the trade off. My parents like this apartment very much, so do I.
Lovely warm apartment with very comfortable beds.Had all the modern cons that I'm used to and in a super location.
Very hard to find so thankful we arrived in the light.Needs to have a bigger no. as the name was different..expected a sign saying element escapes.Busy road outside which made it worse to find.Maybe if you said it was in Frankton not the heart of Queenstown would be easier.
Lovely spot in the beautiful Queenstown.
You get three bedrooms each one has it's own bathroom gourmet kitchen good location and huge lounge dining 8x12 Mtrs plus balcony also laundry plenty of parking. And brand new
I wish I was young again and I would buy a place like this and live like a movie star
Location of the apartment is very near to the scenic of lake Wakatipu. Ample parking. Cleanliness and kitchenette are up to standard. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommended
Hard to find as the apartment is called Mantra Marina at the front.
We loved the view and the comfortability. The apartment was in a great location and being greeted with the fire on and some nice cakes was a great touch. We will definately recommend to friends and would stay here again.
amazing location and very comfortable rooms. it was great share the place with 3 generations of our family. each room had a bathroom ! it was just perfect. wish we can stay there longer...
Great location. We stayed in an apartment on Frankton Road, which is actually a unit inside Mantra Marina. Five to ten minutes of drive to Queenstown. Nice decor and fully equipped. We love the style.
The other guest took our keys and moved into our room. So our check-in was delayed by two hours. Not the fault of the hotel. But perhaps they might want to change the system of how keys are picked up. No service during our stay.
I loved the location and the view was fantastic. Ease of access to facilities and fully self contained apartment created an easy place to stay.
I requested 4 singles and one queen however were not given this and one of the tenants had to sleep on the couch for the duration of the trip. Poor communication.
Nice apartments, clean and spacious
2nd bedroom was 2x single beds, although we had two couples.
The location was good, 10 mintues out of queenstown was prefect Beautiful senary everywhere you looked One night our key decided it didn't want to work. We phoned the people (as it was after hours), they were there within 10 mintues to left us in
I sincerely regret not choose my other option of accommodation. Our bed was suppose to be a large double bed... It was 2 single mattresses pushed together... During out 12 night stay we got offered fresh towels twice. By the time we got offered new we had already washed the ones we already had Our bins didn't get emptied once, we ended up emptying them And the curtains didn't block out any light at night! We used out snow gear and spare blankets to pad the windows to block out all the light at night
Loved the view and generous apartment size. Tania, the assistant manager ,was delightful and extremely helpful, even to the extent of delivering kitchen gear and towels at night when the cleaning staff and manager had failed to do their part.
On arrival the apartment was pretty grotty, floors not mopped and deck had cigarette ashes on the table and floor. All oven trays dirty and some necessary kitchen utensils missing. 4 pairs of dirty socks under a bed found easily when my sister went to get her shoe that had gone under there.Electric jug was damaged with huge hole in handle exposing wire area and the overall manager,Andrew, failed to provide a replacement for two days, so we had to boil water in a saucepan for two days. The gas fire we were looking forward to enjoying never worked. When we asked for some form of discount due to the shortcomings of what is advertised as a luxury apartment, Andrew the manager did agree to a small discount.
Gas fire, friendly welcome, well furnished
Needed a bigger pot to cook for more than 2 people, would have liked somewhere to dry wet gear (eg drying rack)
Andrew was great. Once we complained about the substandard room we were upgraded to a three bedroom townhouse but had to pay a little more. This was great but didn't take away the bad taste about the misleading website booking
Website showed the rooms (in the Mantra complex) were in town. They weren't. Also they were 12 metres from the main road into town. This should have been spelt out. You might want to check your booking off line first before paying. We could have been stuck with the trucks...
Thanks a lot for everything.
No servicing of room for 3 days
rooms were very spacious and kitchen was well set out. good that all bedrooms had ensuites.
expected better lake view. needs more kitchen equipment.
Luxury feel to apartment
Cutlery, Crockery, glasses insufficient for 6 guests. 1 shower would not work properly
