a big apartment with a nice view of The Remarkables, close to the lake.
the views were wonderful, the apartment was spacious and comfortable.
very difficult to contact owner to find out how to get in. Probably a little overpriced and the third bedroom was very small and hot we only stayed two nights so it wasn't much of a problem
For us it was ideal, coming to Queenstown twice a year, this was something different we tried out, it was perfect. Nice people to deal with and they were very helpfull with everything. A place we will come back to!!
No complains at all!!
Barry was great. Gave some great tips on what to see and where to go in Queenstown. Very good value. A little further out of town than we expected but great apartment with lovely view over the lake and the Remarkables. Recommended
Needed a broom and perhaps a vacuum cleaner.
Big apt n very new apt
Gorgeous view; large apartment; very comfortable.
Third bedroom was disappointing (just a section off the hall with pull across doors and room for 2 single beds in a row); would have been nice for appropriate number of glasses / mugs for the number of people the apartment would accomodate (6 people = 5 champagne glasses, 1 wine glass, 4 mugs and 1 water glass).
Great Spacious Area and Great View.
The apartment is a 10 min walk into town. It had beautiful views of the lake. The staff were very helpful - dropping off extra towels for our canyoning trip and working with us on check out time.
The third bedroom with the two single beds has two small skylights that you can't cover. If light affects your sleep this can be a little challenging. Might need to bring your own eye shades. Everything else was beautiful and good value for money.
Gas Fire Spa Spaciousness Comfortable chairs Great dining Room Table Heated towel rack Bathroom floor heating Allocated Car space
2nd bedroom needed curtains on the window as the outside lights shone through the venetian blinds. Linen was not changed during our 10 night stay. More utensils are needed in the kitchen. A larger frypan and a baking dish and some containers for use in the microwave. Better instructions for guests on arrival. TV guide was not current
Great hospitality. Arrived with tasty complimentary pastry from the management. The place was very clean and spacious. Exceptional view of the lake. Our children loved the apartment.
The utensils was greasy, dirty and some were broken. No cleaning liquid around. Not possible to cook.
Very good rooms with beatiful view beside the lake.
Poor staff reply when we have difficult to find our key and receiption at 9:00pm when arriving.
Bed was two singles put together, had no iron or ironing board or toaster to start with, room wasn't cleaned once in the week, no one on reception, owner was as much use as a chocolate tea kettle, cleaners left a master key in the ajoining room so had four people let them selves in which it was lucky I was there and when complianing all I had off the manager was that shldnt happen. So In summary what a waste of money
Clean, nice staff, and of course wonderful view of lake wake tips. Thank you Bob, you are really helpful
Broken washing machine The r
its too stupid of me choosing such a awful hotel without reception. There is no one is responsible for my stay and even no one picked my phone when tenants were in the trouble. For example, during my stay, i bought a lot of vegetables for cooking for a special day,but there is no gas .when I asked the staff ,she let me wait for one hour and call me back, then in the following three hours I was stupidly calling and waiting, but got nothing reply. If you are a smart person, don't spend a lot money on this hotel, all other hotels are also water front and better service.hope you can choose a good place to stay based on my experience.
The property was mantra marina and as far as accommodation goes it was great - book with them direct and AVOID element escapes at all cost - we certainly will be.
We arrived for our prepaid accommodation to be told that the dishwasher was broken and would be fixed the next day and as they were booked out tough luck .... No drama these things happen however we did not see or hear from anyone again - no dish rack was available to even wash up easily - and when a phone call was made on the second day of our stay another rude man said someone would come but no one did. Very average service - would definitely advise travellers to avoid element escapes. The property was mantra marina and as far as accommodation goes it was great - book with them direct and AVOID element escapes at all cost - we certainly will be.
The Element Escape Panorama Terrace provided us with the most spectacular scenery of beautiful Queenstown. It was a real haven from our daughter's pre-wedding activities for us to gaze in peace at that view in front of a glowing gas fire in immaculate modern rooms. The design of the apartment offered privacy and quiet facilities. Our hosts were very accommodating and non intrusive - we would definitely come back in a heartbeat as we felt like we could have stayed there permanently! The Hubbards
Such a beautiful place to stay, person I spoke to was lovely and helpful! The rooms are amazing and the veiw is even better. Well worth the money and will certianly be staying again hopefully some time soon :)
views, lake frontage & bike path access. Space! Bath tub.
No cleaning items - vaccum/broom/mop to deal with minor daily items. 2nd bedroom very tiny
Location close to town centre Lake views Spacious apartment
Not enough drinking glasses in kitchen for 6 people Rubbish bin too small Apartment was not ready at 2pm
Location. Fairly quiet. Comfortable place to relax. Outlook to mountain and lake. The heated tiles and towel racks in the bathrooms. Gas heater in the living room.
Couldn't get into the room when we got there and couldn't call anyone. No reception makes it hard. There should be a telephone inside the building where freshly arriving guests can call someone locally. we didn't have Nz phone coverage. We paid to stay for 2 weeks and the sheets were only changed twice! and this is after having to ask more than once for this to be done. For luxury apartments, I expected a little better customer service. I think your business would be better if you didn't have to make paying customers to follow up on basic stuff like a top up of coffee, sugar or toilet paper. or if this is not included in the price maybe make it a bit clear on the website? I am giving you honest feedback for your market research. overall though, I would recommend Elements escape apartments to friends but will let them know not to expect much in terms of customer service. I would def. stay there again though and have less expectations in terms of sheets and towels been changed. or stay less than two weeks.
Very helpful manager. Great view over the lake. Cakes to welcome you. Nice and warm. Pleasant walk to town and useful exercise back after huge meal.
Not enough wine glasses, no salt and pepper. Needed instructions on how to use video and how to switch off fire.
This was a really nice apartment and great value for money. Would stay again.
Fantastic accommodation for price. 2 en suite bedrooms and great views over lake and mountains. Free highspeed wifi. 10 minutes from centre although very steep on way back.
Lack of hairdryer and tea/coffee pot. Apartments are not serviced during your stay so tea/coffee/waste bags not replaced.
The view is amazing, with enoughspace. I have visited before and love the scenery and the people. very different to tropical Qld where we live
no fresh towels on day 3 as requested. no hairdryer, carpet needed vacuuming, no instructions for heating, kitchen sink blocked, no compendium so we had no idea re closest restaurants etc.Garage full of leaves. We stayed in places all over NZ and overseas that rated better for less $.
