Beautifully appointed room. Free Upgrade to larger suite on second night. With huge spa bath and kingsize bed. Rok - the only staff member we saw was extra friendly and helpful. Modern boutique hotel. Gorgeous décor and surroundings. I cant understand why this is not more popular . Would definitely stay again. Great parking near by. No fridge in room for milk.

On arrival had a glass of bubbly with chocolates, fruit and cheesecake which were lovely. Free wifi which is a huge plus as seems to be very rare in New Zealand. Great comfortable bed. No air conditioning, no fans (as stated on the booking.com website!), would not have booked it if I had the true facts, no fridge, no iron, no ironing board. Staff very nice but not professional. Way overpriced for what is on offer, have stayed in far better places so far in New Zealand which aren't as expensive. Overall very disappointed.
