Fernview Cottage Bed and Breakfast

beautiful house and loved sitting on the veranda overlooking the garden. the iside decor was very tasteful and comfortable. the bathroom was gorgeous. picton is a lovely place to stay with great restaraunts. loved every minute of it.

Convenient to ferry; walkable to restaurants, complimentary wine at 1700.

Shower/tub could use a grab bar.

The hosts were very helpful. Everything was clean and nicely decorated, the bed very comfortable and the breakfast delicious. The location is quiet, across the street from a field, and attractive.

Absolutely fantastic, right down to the welcome glass of wine on arrival. Really pleasant and helpful owners on site.

We had a wonderful stay at Fernview. Great location close to town and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. We were picked from the train station and dropped off at the wharf when we left. Highly recommended.

We thought that Carly and Greg were excellent hosts and have done a wonderful job of decorating the cottage. They were helpful but not intrusive and we would highly recommend this B&B.

Suite a ma demande, ils m'ont prete une serviete de plage.

-Salle de bain etait prive, mais pas dans la chambre. Lorsque je le lui dis, la reponse etait,'c'est une chambre la moins chere.' -Que Monsieur tenait le cintre de maiiot de bains mouille, deplacant de leur seichoir a l'entree. -Pas de television dans la chambre.

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, the room was very clean and comfortable, the location is excellent - 2 minutes walk from the marina, in a quite neighborhood. I would definitely recommend Fernview B & B to other travelers.

This place is really a home away from home! I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the proximity to the town facilities and the garden and guest lounge as alternatives to my room – the standard one. Carlie and Greg were considerate of guests’ privacy but always available to help as needed. I have walked most of the QC track before so appreciated Greg’s advice on different things to do. The attention to detail is impressive, particularly the lavender body lotion, bathrobes, real coffee and chocolates. Highly recommend it but you will need to book early!

Herzlicher Empfang durch den Gastgeber. Romantisches, gepflegtes altes Cottage, stilvolles kleines Zimmer, hübscher Salon / Frühstücksraum mit alten Möbeln. Reichhaltiges Frühstück mit frischen Früchten Toast, und warmem Croissant auf nett gedecktem Tisch. Gute Infos und Tipps bezüglich Essen, Stadt und Fährhafen. Sehr empfehlenswert.
