    Friendly couple, conveniently located.

Having to remove shoes before entering house. Not a good idea if you are paying to stay there. Not like visiting friends.

great welcome with a glass of wine. excellent location away from the town but walking distance to bars restaurants etc. Ideal place for linking with the ferry to/from North Island.

Every little detail had been thought of from fabulous quality dressing gowns to toiletry products

Breakfast wasn't cooked and I thought it was going to be. But the continental breakfast was lovely

Everything was perfect and exactly what we needed. It is a lovely cottage with interesting history, very tastefully decorated, in a great location The hosts were exceptionally gracious - offered us a complimentary glass of (very nice) local wine on arrival, lounge fully stocked with tea, cocoa, and fresh milk, the room was plenty large, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, linens and towels were good quality (well above average I would say, and the soft terry bathrobes were a nice touch, even though we didn't use them). They offered very helpful tips for our walk on the QC walkway, allowed us to park our car with them for the four days we were away, gave us a lift to the water taxi the next morning - even stopping along the way so we could purchase packed lunch for the day. We could not have asked for more. Highly recommended!

We stayed in the attic room and it was great - very private and nicely appointed with comfort in mind. It might be a bit hot in the summer with no AC, but there is a window on each end you can open for a breeze. Easy walk to town. Really great hosts. We would definitely stay here again.

That we had only one night here....there was nothing to dislike.

Friendly homely atmosphere. We loved the little extras around the home that kept it true to the villas style. The hosts were welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home. The proximity to town was great. The breakfast was delicious. We have already begun recommending it to friends and family.

Easily the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. We were made to feel very comfortable and were sad not to be staying longer. The house is beautifully decorated and the facilities were excellent. Faultless!

Friendly and helpful hosts, perfect location for Picton

Breakfast was very limited and bread exactly the same both mornings, with a precise portion of 1 piece toast and 1 croissant per person. No-one asked if we'd like more. Although the breakfast is described as " sumptuous " it does not deserve that accolade.

We found that our room was like a very private suite that was detailed to a high standard. Nice touches such as bathrobes with little sachets of lavender, to a writing desk with chocolate candy. Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit, museli and nice croissants, and flat white coffee!!! Walking distance to downtown. Interesting and very helpful hosts.

Enjoyed welcome with glass of wine and tastefully decorated house. We'll equipped bathroom.

No shoes policy, but no slippers provided in rather cold rooms.

We loved the location of this B&B, excellent staff, good breakfast with a lot of variety. Wifi was connecting good and was free of charge. We arrived a bit early, but were welcomed very friendly. Closed to the centre of Picton than we thought, becasue of an easy to find pedestrian bridge, which brings you to the restaurants and shops in 5 minutes.
