This modern boutique hotel with café and bar is situated just off State Highway 1 in the seaside village of Paekakariki. Each studio unit includes a spa bath, microwave and tea/coffee making facilities. Finn's Paekakariki is only 35 minutes from Wellington city centre by car or train. It is a 2-minute walk to Paekakariki Railway Station, with direct trains to Westpac Stadium. Each studio at Finn's Hotel Paekakariki includes a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, telephone and seating area. All studios have sliding doors opening out to a patio. Finns Restaurant is open 5 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Laundry and dry cleaning services can be arranged. Paekakariki Beach is a 5-minute walk away. Bright clean very modern rooms. Good secure car parking. Appreciated the late check-in (up to 10pm!!) Couldn't fault anything.

I liked the location and was surprised I didn't hear the trains at all. It was very clean and a super huge bed. Also the couple who is running it are very nice people and gay friendly. Looking forward to stay there again one day!

Finns location is very good, the studios are new and lovely, and the service was excellent. The food in the restaurant was also great. There was nothing we didn't like.

We loved our stay/visit to Paekakariki~the Finns rooms were very well appointed, clean and very comfortable. My only suggestion is that you close the room up prior to dusk as we found the room was invaded by mozzies... Thank you to the managers of Finns whom were very friendly and most accommodating during our stay in Paekakariki... :)

Having a restaurant, bar and cinema all in the one location was great. The spa bath was fabulous. Staff were very easy going and nothing too much trouble. Overnight roadworks were occurring during our stay and the resultant noise was an inconvenience, but nothing to do with the accommodation.

The room had a great feel about it. Good layout and lots of space. The bath in the bathroom was relaxing and spacious. Everything was there that we needed and it was a very comfortable place to stay. We would stay there again.

Great friendly staff, large clean modern rooms a minutes walk from the beach. Very expensive WIFI charged through Zenbu (very expensive third party provider) Suggest a change in wifi provider.

Room very well appointed and quiet, nice outlook and good size. difficult to establish who to approach when booking in, ended up at the bar and got sorted from there. Not enough information on the protocol of booking out etc. As the weather was inclement on Sunday morning we left early, could find no one to pay or leave the key with, left it back in the room eventually. would have been good to have an information sheet with options listed.

The rooms were very clean and new, staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is 2 minutes from beautiful scenic beach, good for walking and great coffee shop across the road. Close to local train station. Can't fault it.

friendly staff, helpful, treated like family not just a customer, very clean room, comfortable, warm & quiet (good on the double glazing), coffee was good, beer was very good, yes I would definitely stay again but would probably dine out. thanks for an enjoyable stay dining was not great (noisy, damned TV, sports bar,) food was very average but then we only had one meal.

The room was spacious, nicely decorated and modern. The spa bath was absolutely devine. The food in the restaurant was really nice and although it was a busy night, I received prompt and excellent service. Staff were very helpful, accommodating and I felt welcome. Also the room was really quiet considering the building was near the main road and train station.
