Really helpful and lovely staff, they couldn't have done more for us,
No remote for TV rooms and hotel very dated and we had the deluxe!!
The location providing quietness albeit too decentralised to walk to the town center
Room crampes Bed too soft Corridor carpet worn out Noise from corridor
Basic hotel on outskirts of Te Anau
No wardrobe only two coat hangers on door Pricy compare with other NZ properties stayed in
Easy to find. Clean room. Good value.
Staff are surly. Hotel is very run down. Just not quite close enough to town amenities to walk. Breakfast arrangements were late and inadequate.
Hotel apparently up for sale. It shows.
Comfortable, albeit rather small room.Quiet.
Broken basin tap; double bed against wall so only approachable from one side. Freezing cold breakfast restaurant.
The recreational facilities were terrific. Clean and fresh, really enjoyed a few hours in the evening kicking back and playing some Pool and table tennis while listening to a juke box with music we selected! Thanks for such a great facility!
Fridge wasn't on!
The staff were very helpful, the room was a good size with all facilities in the motel.
The place is looking very tired and needs some work on overall decoration and maintenance, there is no air con which is a big problem in the main hotel.
We enjoyed being able to have a refreshing swim
At the end of January, our upstairs room was so hot during the night that we had difficulty sleeping - air con or at least a fan would be nice.
we were only there to sleep
it was very impersonel. all designed for somewhere to stay and book on line, and that is it. It was quite run down actually. Not a luxiouries hotel as I think it said on line.
Good value for money
The hotel is a bit old looking and needs updating. On the edge of town which means using the car to go to the centre of town
nice lil room.apreciated the camping kitchen area having utensils, bowls pots ect provided,as saves 1 frm having 2 borrow or buy plastic cutlry, not every camps kitchen area at other places provides the simple stuff,so well done on that part.
Newly renovated room, clean, modern, comfortable; View of mountains; friendly staff.
Very small fridge.
Clean and serves the purpose for visiting Milford Sound.
Windows are not so tight, cold wind is coming through. Several times, it smelled of exhaust gas outside, we could not find out why => Impossible to open the window, at times even with windows closed we could smell it in the room.
Rooms were very clean, very helpful staff
A little outdated in some areas of the hotel but with some changes could be a top hotel.
it was run down with no street appeal. we had hair in the bath. the bed was jammed in and dusty down the side of it. there was no table in the room and when we asked for one it was low and not really suitable and hadnt been cleaned so there wasn't any where suiable to make a drink. the tea making facilities were at knee level. was very disappointed
Pool and spa good facilities, staff were great and very helpful, rooms a good size and plenty of parking
We asked to be moved from upstairs unit because the water pressure was so bad. No wifi at very end of building. TV reception was terrible
- Friendly staff at the reception - Car parking space - Fast Wifi
- We stayed there for 2 nights in a hotel-type room. We expected better cleaning and toiletry refill for the second night. It seemed that the maid came-in just to do the bed and refilled coffee packs. - Our room is on the ground-floor facing the parking lot. Tiny balcony, no view. - The hotel is located along the highway to Milford sound, unlike most of the accommodations those are lake-side.
2 nights stay. Clean and comfortable, wifi, had everything we needed. We had a car but it's not far from the town centre to walk it
No complaints from us
We liked the bed
Cold water, no shower pressure no air con, spa pool was broken. It said only line that there was a restaurant this wasn't true. Looked nice online but wasn't in person. Rip off.
Staff was friendly. No frills stay. Free parking. Clean bedsheets.
Very basic motel. Staff was only at the counter 9am-9pm. Had a stinky kettle in the room ( somebody must have cooked sth inside, awful). Very small room. Baby cot not available. Sink unstable. Wifi is awful and in our children room wasn't available at all. Weak shower.
nice location. Friendly people..(staff)
Lots of door slamming, the self close things on the doors over adjusted?..resulting in constant banging doors. A toaster would have been very helpful.Jug dripped when it was poured. U.H.T milk is hideous!
