Resturaunt closed, bar closed, sat tv poor
Well situated , just out of town. Bedroom small but better equipped than rest of hotel.
Very run down feeling, No breakfast offered and bar/restaurant closed- due to staff problems. Stairwell quite dirty with dead flies on floor on arrival, was eventually cleaned.
Within walking distance of Te Anau center. Free Wifi. Spacious and clean room. Great location to stay if you are planning a day trip to the milford sound.
Short walk into town, good value for the money
Shower was very weak, rooms quite small
quiet location on edge of town not best value accomodation for money was clean enough just gave access to fjords and nice local walks
tired motel with very poor shared kitchen facilities
Staff extremely helpful and nice. Carried our luggage for us and drove us back and forth without charge. Awesome.
Hotel looks a bit aged.
Hotel in run down condition. Limited staff available. Doubtful cleaning & room preparation on arrival. Very small room, no room to place unpacked clothes for a 2 night stay. Worst experience during our 16 day tour of the Sth Island.
A full bath! Excellent reception staff
VIEW TO THE MOUNTAINS and LOUNGE AREA
Staff were very helpful. Location of Hotel good as we could walk into town.
Noise level from other guests (Chinese) and from vehicles.
a comfortable place to stay while enjoying a short break in Te Anau
A very comfortable bed, and the room looked newly decorated, with a quality feel.
Staff were very friendly, large room and free WiFi
Run down, dirty. Booked in for three nights but moved out after one.OK if on budget but overall feel of place left a lot to be desired. Could not face going back there after a day out.
Clean, quiet & comfortable.
Each afternoon, there was some sort of burning off in a chimney on the property! Smell & smoke was quite offensive!
Really helpful and lovely staff, they couldn't have done more for us,
No remote for TV rooms and hotel very dated and we had the deluxe!!
The location providing quietness albeit too decentralised to walk to the town center
Room crampes Bed too soft Corridor carpet worn out Noise from corridor
Basic hotel on outskirts of Te Anau
No wardrobe only two coat hangers on door Pricy compare with other NZ properties stayed in
Easy to find. Clean room. Good value.
Staff are surly. Hotel is very run down. Just not quite close enough to town amenities to walk. Breakfast arrangements were late and inadequate.
Hotel apparently up for sale. It shows.
Comfortable, albeit rather small room.Quiet.
Broken basin tap; double bed against wall so only approachable from one side. Freezing cold breakfast restaurant.
The recreational facilities were terrific. Clean and fresh, really enjoyed a few hours in the evening kicking back and playing some Pool and table tennis while listening to a juke box with music we selected! Thanks for such a great facility!
Fridge wasn't on!
The staff were very helpful, the room was a good size with all facilities in the motel.
The place is looking very tired and needs some work on overall decoration and maintenance, there is no air con which is a big problem in the main hotel.
We enjoyed being able to have a refreshing swim
At the end of January, our upstairs room was so hot during the night that we had difficulty sleeping - air con or at least a fan would be nice.
we were only there to sleep
it was very impersonel. all designed for somewhere to stay and book on line, and that is it. It was quite run down actually. Not a luxiouries hotel as I think it said on line.
