“ A great place to stay that is not really modern but still immaculate and well kept. Everything I needed was there, it was like living in a small, self-contained apartment. Perfect for a base in New Plymouth with late check in available (I arrived close to midnight). The onwer operators were extremely friendly and efficient. Recommended. ”

Close to city centre and the beaches. Good to have a nice kitchenette. Would be great for the budget conscious. Bathroom a bit small.

Clean & tidy unit. Good situation being close to all amenities. Service level excellent. Tv was not working on a couple of channels for first 2 days but this was rectified.

Poor value (small, dingy room). Light above bed was solar reflector with no off switch - light came on at dawn whether you wanted it or not. Wifi reception was very poor in the room. Some sites (including booking.com) were completely inaccessible. Wifi advertised as free but initially offered only 30 minutes a day.

Owners extremely friendly and helpful. The place would be the cleanest and tidiest we have ever seen both in nz and Australia. Would definitely stay there again.

Have stayed there several times because of the centrality to what I want to do and there helpfulness. This timehad been booked a room up stairs and have difficulty with these so they were very obliging and gave me a very nice alternative which although it didn't have the bedroom and living room separate as I had indicated nevertheless was a larger sized bedsitter than the 2 room. I was not at the motel for long periods of time so that was fine with me. Manager always helpful and newspaper delivered.

Had all the necessities and was comfortable Change the concentina doors in the toilets theyre old and fiddly to close. Young children would find it a challenge

I found them friendly and helpfu and very clean-very high stanard. Spacious,i picked it as it had a full kitchen with oven.I would certainly return there and recommend them. Only one small thing- we should be allowed to have - no service - if requested. No service means the housekeepers not going in at all.

We have stayed here several times now. The service is great and they remember us each time. Generally quiet and very family friendly. Handy to most of New Plymouth attractions. A good variety of units to meet difering needs at different times. We'll be back again.
