Ibis Budget Auckland Airport  

Your man at reception deserves a pay rise, the whole foyer full of people to book in and he was professional, speedy and helpful.

The bunk bed mattress was thin, and caused noisey rustles on every movement.

The generous size bed was good to sprawl out on after a long drive & an excellent hot shower in the morning which had plenty of water pressure.

A musty odour from a damp carpet maybe, when we showered in the morning we noticed water seeps under the shower door onto the vinyl floor then towards the carpeted area, otherwise fine.

No drinking glassin the room!!!

Checked in early evening. Suited an overnight stay with early start next morning. Clean room, comfy bed, good shower. Rooms are small, but worked fine for what was needed. Free shuttle ran pretty much on time even at 5am!

We were very happy with our accommodation.

Liked the price 1st offd but also was pleasantly surprised by the hotel itself. While affording no luxuries for my 7 hour stay it was ideal. And great having the restaurant and bar next door.Location to airport is ideal and very quiet

Location was just so convenient, close to airport but even closer to shopping mall. Golf course is also very close but didn't have time for a hit. Keep it up Ibis Auckland. From Auckland to new Ibis hotel Geneva, another nice and convenient facility. Am liking it here. Thanks Ibis

The absence of telephones in the rooms. Some don't have mobile roaming and need to have contact. So message went to wrong guest instead of me. Although booking was made under my name, rooms had different guests.

Good value for money. Anyway don't expect much from this hotel, is is good only to spend a (short) night to and from airport. On the same building at ground floor you will find a very good pub/cafe/brasserie, not run by Ibis afaik, which was very good.

Toilet not very well cleaned (hairs from precious guests) and room very small.

Ease of access to the airport. Good bus service.

Only negative was a blind that did not stay down.

Very good bathroom - very clean, excellent shower, lots of hot water.

No opening windows, very very noisy air conditioning - didn't sleep a wink all night. Paper pull down blinds that were useless! Not a single glass in the room to have a drink of water. When we checked in weren't told a single thing about the facilities. Only discovered the kitchen the next morning when checking out at 5am - would have loved a cup of tea!!

Proximity to Auckland Airport. Free shuttle bus. No issues with our room.

Shuttle was convenient

The room was so small i could hardly put my bag down. No facilities at all to make or have a drink. No hand towel in the bathroom. I would rather have known how limited the room was and paid extra for more

We were upgraded to a bigger bed as my husband is tall at no extra cost

We were given misinformation about the airport shuttle and nearly missed the plane and had to catch a cab to the airport
