Shuttle Service to airport - excellent! Never had to wait or fear that I'll be late and miss my flight. The carpet in the room could do with a good clean but other than that everything was perfect. Clean, quiet and comfy.

First Impressions was that it could do with a make over. But there was heaps of room and the beds were comfortable. A basic but full kitchen allowed us to make a home cooked meal. 2 bed rooms with 2 single beds and a Queen bed and sofabed in the main room. Tv was beside the bed head? We had a long stop over between USA and Australia so decided to stay the extra night and look around Aukland. Our flight arrived at 4.30 am we rang for a transfer but were advised we would have to pay for an extra night to be picked up at that time but he agreed to pick us up and let us into our room at 8 am. So after a bit of a wait at the airport we got to have showers before jumping on the hop on hop off bus out the front of the hotel. We had the option to be droped off at the Airport but chose the shopping centre accross the road to kill some time. Walked to the airport when ready.

The Motel is very conveniently located close to Auckland airport, and the Motel will kindly arrange free transport to or from the airport. The staff were very helpful and friendly. In fact we stayed twice in the Motel, once in a family studio which had two bedrooms, and again in a single studio fro just two people. The accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen, and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom fittings work but are now looking a bit tired, and could do with renovation. Breakfast is brought to the room but is pretty basic for the price. The Motel is walking distance from several good restaurants, and a bus route to the centre of Auckland. The Motel is situated on a busy main road, and near a community centre. Depending on which part of the Motel you stay at it can be a little noisy, but for both rooms we stayed in the noise was not a problem.

It was close to Auckland airport for our early morning flight and the manager was very helpful. We didn't like being kept awake until 3.20 am by a group of youngsters who were staying at the hotel. They were in the grounds of the Motel making a lot of noise outside our room, continued in a room above us and at the side. It was impossible to sleep and resulted in our worst night in New Zealand of the 25 stays.

Booked initially for my non-English speaking parents and friends who were travelling in North Island and arrived late into Auckland. Great pick up / drop off service even at awkward hours! David is just amazing, and really went for the extra mile to facilitate their short stay in nz, and made my family and friends feel really welcomed and safe. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here!

Fantastic value for money. Clean and alot more spacious then alot of more modern motels I have stayed in. David the manager was outstanding.Full of information about eateries, local sites and city attractions. So nice to sit under a most magnificent magnolia tree and have a wine. Pool looked great but a little too cold at this time! Shuttle from and to airport efficent and fast. Highly recommended to short stay and I am sure would be great for a longer vist too. Will be back!

The whole room, whilst probably clean, felt dated and dirty and the shower was the worst one I have used for many years with very little water flow and the temperature control didn't work - I very nearly scolded myself several times.

The manager was very helpful, we were in Auckland to go to the Rugby World Cup Quarter Finals and he was able to give us all the information regarding transport to and from Eden Park. We also appreciated the fact that the towels were changed daily. Everything was great. Only comment I could make is that the tariff doubled from the time of our original inquiry to the booking. This was once the management realised this was now a rugby world cup weekend (originally not but the games were transferred from Christchurch due to the earthquake).

Was staying one night only for a rugby game, was most impressed with friendly, helpful staff member. He organised a taxi, told me places to go to get better tickets, and where to find the nightlife. Didnt expect much for overnight visit, but attitude made a difference.

We visited durig the rugby world cup chose the motel as it was one of the few available at the time . Although all hotel prices were raised during the event, we were charged 210. nz dollars for a room in a facility which needs an entire overhaul. The going rate for such a motel is about 80. nz dollars . The owner is very helpful but this is not good value for the money. Make sure to stay clear of Jamal the cabdriver whom the motel will call if you need a taxi. He will rip you off.
