The room 304 had several minor but noticeable maintenance issues - chipped paint, broken tiles, hinge weeping all of which just need attention. And we were woken at 3am by a party in the room and balcony below us that did not stop in spite of friendly protest until 5.30am

China mugs too thick for my liking (but then I like bone china for my cups of tea!) Check-in took longer than I expected, but staff very helpful

Nice hotel in a nice location with pleasant staff.

Got a bit of noise from the lift as our room was located quite close to it on the 8th floor.

Location, easy access to the Viaduct area.

Council works during the night. Even though I was on level 9, the noise from the works kept me awake all night. I would have appreciated notice of these works at the time of booking because I would have stayed somewhere else.

The service from staff was absolutely wonderful.

Excellent location convenient to waterfront area restaurants ferries etc. Great view across Auckland Harbour. Friendly and helpful staff

the fold out couch was thin and not that comfortable. would not recommend it for the weight of an adult.it was not made up and there were no pillows or blanket. had to ask for sheets and do it ourselves.

The location, if the windows weren't dirty it would have been better.

During our stay the room developed a major water leak from the ceiling I’m told due to the air-conditioning, we found this when arriving home from dinner at 2135. I rang reception at 2145 & was told someone would be right up. At 2215 I phoned back and was told they were on their way, at 2200 they arrived with 2 towels and told us maintenance would look at it in the morning. The overall condition was terrible & how I find it hard to believe that anyone would rate it 4 stars with the damage to the walls, water damage and cracked tiles in the bathroom. I've been waiting 5 days now for The General Manager (after 2 phone calls & an email) to contract me about our issues. Worst customer service of any Hotel I've ever stayed in

Expensive carparking considering you canpark on the street for free until 8am.

Nice spacious room with great view and all the facilities we needed.

The pool area was a little down at heel.

Great central location walking distance to heaps of restaurants and cafes. I had a large room with a seperate sitting room and small kitchen.

Paid $179.00 for Room 112 on Saturday 9 March that was not air conditioned. Very hot night - Round The Bays next day = uncomforatble night and loss of sleep. Up at 3 am - went to lobby - man came to look at it - no real advice that worked. Went down again about 20-30 minutes later- he returned but could not turn it on. Told me I could just phone him - I said I had tried on the phone on the wall. He pointed out that I should use the desk phone- where were those clear instructions when I looked through your folder late at night? Desk staff should also point out that you put key card in the door and instantly remove- another trip to the foyer!! I was assured, as I paid my money the following morning, that the general manager would phone me - no indication of that yet. I consider it a lot of money for an uncomfortable night. Please respond - preferably with a call from the Manager. I can also send it a hotel review. Annie Lloyd

Clean, staff friendly, bed was comfortable, had a good kitchenette in the room also.

Bathroom- very small, wall tiles had been replaced and were fine but floor tiles old and cracked. I'm 5ft 8in and the shower head was at chin height!!! Had to crouch down or sit in the bath to wash my hair- not happy about this!

We orederd 2 beds in a room x 2, but these rooms which we want wern't prepared.

good location - easy walk to Queen St it was very clean good value for the price we paid we were allowed late check-out (12 pm) lots of space in our suite kitchen was a plus for us

Not far from the harbour and cbd. Rooms was good enough, but you you get what you pay for.

Small room. Sorrounding streets are full of vehicles and walking is not that pleasant.
