Great for little children-big private lawn down to the beach and no fear of them being run over.

beautiful location overlooking the bay, slightly out of town but good bars and restaurants nearby

Having the cooker right next to the bed and the bed being so dominant in the room.

We had to arrive early and change for a funeral. Able to get into our room which was very much appreciated. 3 single beds in second bedroom-perfect for 3 young men in their 20's. Most motels do not accommodate family of 5 so well.

Lovely location and very comfortable rooms.

Would have liked a bath and no dedicated parking for each unit meant that as we arrived late we had to park on the road.

Handy to cafes etc, nice and sunny, peaceful

For some reason we thought they had cooking facilities, shame there was really only a microwave

Room wasn't serviced and when told reception was told that they would provide towels etc but up to us to service rooom, so no extra, tea, coffee etc offered, very poor service I thought, staff certainly didn't go out of the way to help

Location excellent - had lovely views of Hawkes Bay. Room was spacious, all mod cons, lovely balcony - was great to have breakfast on the balcony in the sunshine! Spa bath was a bonus! Guest laundry, too - very useful.

Not too many restaurants close by and it was Anzac Day as well.

The hotel appeared in real life as it did in the advertising there was no trick photography. The hotel is right next to the water and a great park for the kids to play as well as being close to eating venues. The room we had, had a well stocked kitchenette so you could eat in your room if you wished which was handy when travelling with a child. The staff were very friendly.

Nothing to complain about a great place to stay.

    Spacious rooms, great view

Back of bathroom door had makeup smudges and marks. Cleaners need to close the door when inside and check.

The view from the room was amazing! Sitting on the balcony listening to the ocean....just bliss! Room was large and well equipped for self catering. Super clean and loved the spa bath!! Friendly staff and lovely little town location with all you could need from the shops.

Odd layout of main room as bed was right next to kitchen stove. No wardrobe in main room. Smoking from unit underneath spoiled our stay, smoking should be away from property.

Self catering facilities were just right for our needs. Open outlook onto sea and 50 yard walk to it.Napier town centre was good, including information centre.Gannet tour to Cape Kidnappers great fun even for none bird enthusiasts, you couldn't fail to be impressed by the geology.

Town centre of Napier too far to walk for a mature couple but just a few minutes by car

Comfortable and quiet, relaxing sea views, will stay again, have already booked for next year

We stayed four nights and would have liked milk replenished and coffee was not always replenished, apart from that all good

location was great. The room was spacious and had a great view, Perfect for our group.

i booked for 4 women in a suite that had 1 double bed, 2 singles and a day bed. While we were travelling I phoned to confirm the room configuration and the receptionist told me the day bed was only suitable for children. However when we arrived we found the day bed actually folded out into a double bed and was perfectly suitable for on e adult. In the meantime however we were a bit concerned that we might not have enough beds. I would like the staff who respond to phone calls to have a better idea of the room configuration and the capability of the day beds

The location and the overall experience.

With only wall lighting in the room it was difficult to get an effective level of lighting. A central unit would have assisted.
