Good, clean accommodation. Lovely pool area. large clean kitchens and washrooms
lack of cooking pans in kitchens. had to be borrowed on a deposit basis. No information about this in kitchens or at check in.
Charge for shower, bedding
Well positioned for exploring the region. Shared kitchen and toilet blocks all very clean.
Insufficient linen and any towels. The nightly low rate was the clue to the budget standards for accommodation
Cheap rooms that are good for any number of guest
Shower that has a coin slot for hot water. Need to pay 2 dollars every 6 mins to have a hot shower.
The pool was great and also really liked outside cooking area and fire pit.
Cups in cabin were tiny.
Only used room for sleeping out and about during day.
The musty smell
I liked how family units had its own bathroom/kitchen block. Free showers.
How there was no packing & unpacking bay...family's travel with lots of stuff. I was really un happy with state of room linnin on queen bed was dirty & lots of stray hair. Floor was gross had not been cleaned at all. Bad ant problem. Size was good & had every thing that we needed
2 bedroom chalets were nice and cool after day in hot sun
Steps into pool, pool to small
No power plugs near the double bed in the room for sleep machine.
The kids programme and the space for children to run/bike. The BBQ area.
The family units fitted our situation very well. Facilities for the children were good. The unit, kitchen and bathroom facilities felt clean.
The bunk mattresses were uncomfortable for an adult size.
That the booking company advertised it as a chalet, disappointed to find it was not.
clean trees & gardens outside facilities
over priced double bed not comfortable enough cutlery of poor quality and bent easily
Had everything we required for a short stay
Thought the cabins could do with a freshen up
The pool & outdoor BBQ
Expensive for what it is
Facilities and the staff are great, and we will go back due to this.
The fact that even when staying in a family area with my children we had a football team staying in the same area, so there was late night noise and beer pong games outside our door. Was told sometimes this can happen. Bed wasn't at all comfortable either.
It was a great environment for the kids. Lots to see and do. Great entertainment areas.
The fact that I was a paying customer and was not allowed to book an 2 half hour sessions in the spa when there was clearly no other reservations booked and 2 spas to use. I had the flu coming on and it was too cold for my baby of 9 months to swim in the outdoor pool. My partner had a good swim with our son but I only gt half an hour. It did ruin the whole stay for me.
Heated swimming pool and spas were favourites. Great TV. Nice outlook from motel chalets over park with all day sun. Lovely well established trees. Gardens and park were very well maintained.
Dbl bed was very hard. Convection heater not very effective. Heat pump/air con would be ideal. Would be good to have loo/change area next to pool.
location, Staff, tidy
Beds a little hard. Walls a little thin.
Liked how easy everything was to book an because we were arriving late how they left clear instructions on where we were. Its a relaxing environment.
Location - was close to family in Havelock North Facilities - Playgrounds were safe for grandkids visiting Very warm inside. Nice layout Neighbours were quiet. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will stay again. Cabin and staff were excellent thanks.....
Key wouldn't open door on arrival. Sticky lock - caretaker kinda sorted it enough for me to use. Shower hot water took ages to come through - when it did it was lovely. Much dust behind fridge and under bed - only located dust when looking for grandsons toy. No frypan in unit or oven tray to use in oven - used plates instead. Could not find unit - had to ask caretaker. Unit numbers were not visible from the carpark. Even though I had a map on arrival. Could not get TV1 or TV2 however it was a positive thing.
The hostess was accommodating and very friendly. The facilities catered 110%+ to our three teenage lads providing them with activities to occupy them on their weekend away from school. The location of the property was optimal and central to all the places that we wanted to visit during our stay and the camp ........... nice, quiet and serene.
Unfortunately the weekend that we stayed must have been one of the windiest in Napier (compared to Wellington, the windy conditions would have been normal). Our chalet shook quite a bit so would not recommend the chalet that we stayed in to anyone nervous about earthquakes.
Although weather was miserable the setting was nice
Showers had no hot water and there was no reference to pay showers. We were put in a unit surrounded by a school football team TV options were limited Unit was flooded with night lights from out side
We arrived at night during winter and the heater was on so the room was nice and warm.
Not a lot of plates etc
The facilities were great for the group that we had.
