the location of the apartment We booked a 3 bedroom unit and paid $400.00 for this unit, we expected at least 2 bathrooms in this unit. It was my sisters 40th bithday at the heritage and she had been quoted $300.00 per room that sleeps six, when I asked about this after departure at reception we were told we were not eligable as we booked through this site, I .found this quite strange as it was the hanmer springs heritage that we paid our money to... I did expect a refund for been over charged by $100.00 as we choose this complex because my sister had been quoted better deals. I would like some feedback on this matter please

We stayed in a 3 room villa with teenagers. Worked well, though only 1 sky channel threw us, and we had to visit Montieths to watch the Breakers win. Enjoyed the view over the wee lake in the morning. Would love to stay longer next time.

The hotel is near the Thermal Spring and the view outside is really nice. We booked a three-bedroom villa and found out there is only one bathroom in the entire villa. It is very inconvenient for six people to use one bathroom. The hotel shall be more considerate and thoughtful in planning the villa layout.

Hotel restaurant was excellent, buildings were and gardens were beautiful Room we booked for had a king sized bed, what we got was two queen sized beds, which we have no need for. furniture and decor were outdated, hotel is advertised as luxury accommodation however does not meet expectations on arrival and after visit.

Friendly people great open fire which we can't have in Christchurch facilities in the room were great and very quiet with a great nights sleep. Would recommend. No complaints!

Quick, simple, easy booking. Efficient arrival set up. Clean, well sized room. Thought the I-Pod docking station was an excellent addition to room. Perfect location for walks, evening in town, spa pools.

Close to the hot pools, very nice staff (includes cleaning staff etc) nice shops nearby, lovely surroundings including gardens etc. Price was competitive - you get value for money.

The atmosphere of hamner springs its impecable. A joyful beauty hidden away and ideal for a relaxing break and a place too take that special someone for a romantic retreat. Unfortunitly I feel the site I booked thru falsely avertised the room as more than it really was and for over $200 I felt very over priced and far too costrophobic. As I hav stayed in many places to conduct my work I would be unwilling too stay again and would not reccommened to assoc or family etc you should ensure your adds and photos show the true size of room and things included or avalible not wait till a guest stays too pay good money for a shoe box or dolls house style of room. Just about everythingwas fantastic, We stayed in a three bedroom detatched unit in the grounds. It was so lovely you could live there. Fantastic view of the mountains. Washing machine & dryer. Private deck, woodburner in the lounge. Very clean nice bathroom accessories. Spa is fantastic, We will stay there again when next in New Zealand.

Excellent central location to most of Hanmers attractions. Reception staff on arrival -rude (male). Late check in due to cleaning staff and early check out - not really value for money. Sky television reception very poor.

Good facilities and layout. Helpful staff and excellent service I think your internet policy is inappropriate for your market position. Most places I stay at provide internet access free of charge, and many are further down market than you. It is good that you offer free internet access for 30 minutes in the lobby, but why not everywhere, and why have it set up so that if you log on for 5 minutes then off again, you need to wait till the next day to get free access again? This is the only negative comment that I have about the Heritage at Hanmer. We really enjoyed our stay!
