Ibis Wellington

Easy to find location, very clean, easy to register, staff at Ibis were extremely helpful and pleasant, breakfast excellent value for money.

no it met all the requirements for a one night stay for me and my teaching team as we visited wellington to attend a conference course.

My Partner uses a walking frame. We find the site very central. We were able to move around the city on foot even with restricted mobility. The hotel facilites were comfortable and adequate for our needs. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were helpful and avaiable without being "in your face". A pleasent and comfortable that meet our requirements.

We are an older couple and don't need a meal big enough to feed a football team, in fact sometimes it is adaquate for us to share a full size meal. We found the meals a bit expensive for our needs however it was not too much trouble to walk a block or two for something more in our range. So senior citizens meals for senior rates would be an improvement.

bathroom not cleaned as highly as expected.

pretty much everything, starting from the first welcome to the abience of the room and the hotel to the meals, the service and even the pressure of the shower, everything was perfect.

It was well located easy walking distance to shops, train, buses and some of wellingtons attractions.

Bed was quite hard.

It is close to town, therefore no need to use your car to get around the city, saves on parking meters and /or trying tio find parking

very friendly, comfortable and the rooms are quite big which give me a lot of space

Lovely large comfortable bed

My 'king' size bed certainly didnt look/feel like a normal king size, and the two queen beds in the 2nd room i booked liked/felt more like doubles.

could smell the cigarette smoke close to the main entrance.

Friendly staff. Very helpful with parking.Allowed me to leave the car whilst I had coffee with my daughter. This was huge for me. The room was lovely and clean and warm, bed very comfortable. Room also in lovely condition. Also hotel was easy to find. Very important for someone who does not like driving in Wellington.

No nothing. Altogether a very pleasurable experience. I would most certainly stay there again. My husband was similarly impressed.

Not being able to get a newspaper delivered to my room - Had to go down to reception.

close to waterfront facilities & for shopping.

we looked forward to use of sauna & pool but was told this facility was not available, only to corparate which was not stated on website.
