It was a lovely quite place to stay. Enjoyed our stay.
The bed was a little small
Location. Staff. Room. Price
Friendly and accommodating with request for early check in.
The buffet meal and breakfast were excellent The Club lounge was a nice facility
There was no electric blanket on the bed on a cold wet Wellington night We had a top priced king size room and were disappointed to find that there was a bath with shower over as my husband is 86 and a bit wobbly on his feet this was not satisfactory.
Location to shopping. Easy walk to Cake Tin. Close to Public Service Offices.
Parking cost - especially over weekend!
Handy location easy walk to all central wellington has to offer...also buses running straight past lambton quay exit. Very helpful friendly staff
Bed was a bit too firm for us but still comfy
The rooms were nice and warm
We could hear every door close and tap run from the neighbouring rooms
Whole room and floor wonderfully clean and fresh - particularly the bathroom in the room!!
Noise from a joining rooms - but it was very minor.
Easy access to hotel Great central location Could provide the type of room we needed when we wanted
Could hear next door room person coughing all night Breakfast service bit slow (getting to us about coffee and tea) had to actually ask !! Should happen if you are providing that type of service other wise make coffee an tea facilities available for people to get their own.
Proximity to other places. Food was excellent and room was immaculate.
1.) Bed was a great size. 2.) Staff very friendly and accommodating - we asked to be put up as high as possible for my Fiance's birthday and not only were we on the 25th floor, they also wished him a happy birthday on arrival. 3.) Bathroom was a nice size
1.) Hair dryer broke 2 mins into using it 2.) Shower head was quite low, so my Fiance who is 6 foot 3 had to stoop. 3.) Doors are quite thin, you can easily hear people out in the hall.
An absolutely perfect situation having driven down from Feilding. Straight off the motorway and into the reception area, couldnt have been easier'. Reception staff were excellent and made us feel welcome and at home. The room in which we stayed was adequate for our needs and well appointed and the venue which we used for a meeting was ideal for the group which we were part of.
Unfortunately the bed in which I slept was one of the worst I have ever struck in a hotel of this quality and the breakfasts that we had in the reception area cafe were something less than memorable
No bar open when we came in at 11:00 pm
fantastic location with great access to daughters uni hall as well as conference and street shopping facilities
staff could be friendlier - bar and lobby kitchen - rush and if the meals are available until 10pm they should be open for orders until 10pm.
Breakfast and staff ,location
Rooms are old
Room was small and bathroom felt dated.
Good staff, use of a great gym and good wifi
Stayed here for two nights as a stopover before the ferry, and to visit the highlights of the city. Loved the lift access direct to the main shops. Parking facilities excellent with valet service. Car waiting for us on time for our early departure.
The refurbishment of the cafe bar in the reception area prevented us from getting snacks or light meals.
Enjoyed our stay very much
I like that its in town and not too far from places. Very helpful also in reception. Close to the train station also.
Being woken by a helicopter on Sat morning from 7am onwards working on a neighbouring building.
Didn't like how we had to pay a bond as we were only paying by debit card not credit card.
Excellent Standard. Right in the centre of the CBD. Close to everthing and just a short walk to the waterfront.
Couldn't just get toast for breakfast at the breakfast area so went to the waterfront instead..
Location and friendliness of the staff
Expensive wine list with unappealing wines
