Comfort and the colours of the room. I loved the "private evening bath"

The diversity of guests, their age and the silence all over the place.

Very warm & welcoming host Nikki makes you feel like you're part of the little jugglers family right away. A lot of passion & love has been invested in creating & furnishing this cozy little house and you can feel it everywhere :-)

Proximity to facilities in the township

The only thing was where our room was situated next to the lounge and so you could hear people talking at night when in bed - but they noise didn't go on for too long though.
We enjoyed our stay, staff very friendly and nice meeting the other people there. Old quaint house, very quiet street.

Awesome hostel, such nice staff love the circus zone, perfect place to chill out

More bathroom facilities required. Didn't like the shower with swing doors and no lock so any one could walk in. Cost of laundry an absolute rip off.

The place is nice and cozy, it makes me feel at home. People would hang out at the living area mingling with fellow travellers, sharing their travel experiences. The shared guestroom is spacious, everyone has a single bed placed in each corner of the room. Definitely the most comfy bed in all my hostel experiences. Bruce, our host, helped me to book the trip to one of the tracks on Queen Charlotte.

You can have the wifi but it is limited so it is not possible to have a skype and booking reservations, but for checking emails it's alright :)
It is a very nice place with welcoming staff. You can relax with hamac, make slackline, try to juggler.. and also which is a must is that the beds in the dorms are alone and comfortable :) You can cook and meet other travellers in good vibes!

The only down side was that the lovely room I had was straight off the communal area, so could hear everything. to be fair, Bruce has a curfew time and all guests still wishing to talk move to the outside area at the front.
Cleanliness, friendliness, helpfulness, facilities, etc. etc. etc. hard to find fault. Very very very clean room, kitchen and showers. Really nice large double room. Great place to stay, wish I had longer.

Place is great, owners are great, home made breakfast, salad from the garden, free bikes to get to the city center, room was really big, everyone was relaxed and laid back

This place was the best backpackers I've experienced. Super friendly and helpful staff, really clean, herb and vege garden, amazing shower and a fire show! We were given maps and advice on nice drives and walks to take to see glow worms. I'd stay here again.

I loved this place, only happy vibes and happy people! Nice and cosy, felt home there...Thanks to the team!

No communal TV $4 for a bath Emphasied donations for things like fuel for the fire show but really it was just to subsidise the performer practice Only 40mb of free wifi, others hostels close by had unlimited for free. Paid wifi too expensive Washing $5 and no dryer Noisy at night, communal area and kitchen next to room and other guests were very inconsiderate
Electric blanks Big double room Comfy bed Beautiful garden Booties (knitted socks) Owners are lovely Fire show at night Good walks, good area

Bruce and Nikki are the best hosts you could ask for! The house is great, bed was comfortable, shower was warm and powerful. Bruce also took the time to help plan my next venture and was so happy with the recommendation of a day trip to Lochmara. The hosts also made me feel so welcome, having a chat over tea, recommending places to eat nearby and offering things to make my stay more comfortable. My only regret is not taking their offer to stay another night!! Thank you!!
