Very clean, big room with huge bathroom - everything was top! Didn't try the restaurant, so cannot comment on the food.
Basic accommodation without any frills. Wouldn't like to pay any more. Place clean and tidy. Nice roses out front.
Free wifi limited to foyer.
Everything was OK and nice. Location was just around the corner from the shopping and eateries.
Wasn't impressed that the room looked on to a car park. Was expecting to see the lake.
This hotel is not in the city center, thus it is very quiet. Room was clean and comfortable, staff friendly and willing to help. Hotel is very close to the lake and DOC office.
the natural and cool view of surrounding the soft and comfortable bed
we were up at top floor. poor three old ladies have to climb up to the room every time. is it possible to have lift to bring us up with heavy luggage?
Central Location close to lakeside. Lake view from the restaurant.
Limited parking. Buffet Breakfast (food in containers for a long time). Wifi difficult. Having a 1.5% charge on credit cards.
Location, wide room
Limited (30 min!) WiFi
It had all the decent things you'd expect from a decent hotel (as opposed to a luxury one), and it was positioned right on the lakefront
How you could hear your neighbours a bit, And that nothing was extravagantly done
good view in resturant
View over the lake. Restaurant pleasant and food good.
No lift. Blocked into carpark by busses when we were in a hurry for an appointment.
Staff was very helpful and the service was excellent. Convenient stay for our trip to Milford Sound and our Glow Worm tour.
Thought the Hotel was dated and as we had paid for a upgraded room didn't think it was that great at all. Views very dissapointing.
Good sized room with comfortable beds at a very reasonable cost.
Shower over bath risk for older people...
Location, very friendly and helpful staffs ...
Nice big rooms, hotel lying by the lakeside a short walk from the city centre. Friendly staff. Free parking.
Only free wifi in the lobby.
Friendly helpful staff Clean quiet rooms Short walk to restaurants and Supermarket. Would stay here again if lucky enough to come back to beautiful Te Anau.
Nothing to not like here
We loved the location, warmth, view and the food and lay out for dining ....
Loved that the staff were so accommodating when our travel plans changed radically.
The shower wets the floor under the basin so those not awake properly get wet socks. Trying to fill the jug is difficult as the tap is too low. Need to use a cup and fill it cup by cup.
We booked to stay for 3 nights and payed in full in arrival. We got to our room and we there for 15 minutes when we decided to leave and find another hotel to stay. There was mould on the window sill, mould spores on the old shower curtain, stains on the synthetic duvet and dustballs on the edges of the stained carpeted room. We expected the 3 star rating and accepted the humble outdated furniture on the site- but we expect a clean room. We asked for our money back on these grounds and hotel refused refund. Completely disappointed.
Being sent upstairs after specifically booking a ground floor unit. Arriving at the hotel restaurant a 7pm to find no staff behind the bar or in the dining room. We had to approach the office staff to obtain service. The other sore point was the charges for internet connection. This hotel was the 11th hotel/motel we had stayed in over the previous 16 days and the first to charge for internet and at the ridiculous rate of $10 hr.
No free Wifi in rooms
Lovely room, comfortable and staff were accommodating. Overall a great stay. Many thanks.
Nothing all very good.
Helpful staff for transporting luggage. It is one of the best hotels we stayed during our 16 days trip in NZ
Limited free internet
