Nice shower, great to have complimentary umbrella's, like the special facecloth for makeup, bed was comfortable.

I have hearing difficulties and could not hear the TV - I understand control has probably been introduced for guest comfort in the next room, but not good for me. Also, the people in the next room slammed cupboards etc, perhaps silencers could be introduced on the cupboard doors.

Close to main road. However it was quiet at night.

The staff are knowledgable & friendly. The showers are great! One of the few motels with a decent armchair, or any armchair. They don't use strong smelling air freshoners. They remember who I am.

Clean tidy and wellpresented. Double glazing on frontage lessened traffic noise. Very comfortable bed and Lockwood style motel.

The closeness to the City and to restaurants local supermarkets. The owners were friendly and considerate. Unit clean and tidy.

The traffic noise, the creaking of the building (typical Lockwoods apparently). Noisy guests in units either side, one night only fortunately. Other two nights OK.

The property was clean and of a reasonable size

No soundproofing in between units. We could clearly hear our neighbours through the wall.

Great location-near New Plymouth golf club. Easy walk to restuarants and Rosies pub.

The rooms are excellent. Hotel standards of service at motel prices. The owners are charming, helpful amd generous to a fault in what they provide. A large supermarket is a two minute walk away, the main street with shops and restaurants is fifteen minutes away and the seafront is a five minute walk. This is a first class motel.

On the corner of a busy road, there is some traffic noise, particularly from lorries and motor bikes, but not enough to bother two light sleepers. The approach to the motel can be difficult, depending on direction of approach, but nothing that a prior look at a map won't make clear.

It did not feel like a motel. Instead it was a well appointed and roomy studio apartment with added luxuries e.g. Fluffy robes; golf sized rain umbrella; high quality toiletries. Also within walking distance of the downtown area and local supermarkets.

The intersection into the motel is dangerous.

The location was handy to town but without being too noisy. It was quiet and I got a good nights sleep. The room was really clean. Everything was nice and worked. The TV was a good size and I liked the fact that there was a dvd player as well. The wi fi was brilliant, reliable and I was able to work on my laptop.

Great owners really cared about their guests. Very clean, comfortable. Close to things, good advice on what to go and see!!

Very well laid out room with all 'mod-cons'. Warm and comfortable. Warmth came from the underfloor heating in the tiled area and 'warmth' from the wood of the walls and ceiling. Comfort from the well proportioned room and fittings and being remarkably clean and tidy. Even the cutlery in the draw was 'inviting' to be used
