Mantra Marina Queenstown  

Very modern, luxurious, warm, scenic, clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly. Because we were visiting with family, they upgraded us to a larger shared luxury suite which was excellent.

Although the location was beautiful, it was a fair drive to the town center, and the bus to town and back was a bit expensive.

A bit far from the town - need to drive to town. But it's not a big problem since we need a car to explore the beautiful Queenstown area anyway & it's easy to find parking in town.

I liked the lake view across to Kelvin Heights area with the lights reflecting in the water at night time. I liked the mountain mist and snow peaks above the Remarkables to view early in the morning.

I did not like the fact we were so close to industrial-type buildings on one side with dirt/mud driveways between those buildings and the lake - I think this distracted from the overall quality of the view from our unit. If you didn't see those buildings/driveways the view would be spectacular.

Location to Q'town centre, amenities and ski fields (Remark's and Coronet) is excellent.

Apartments are well equipped and comfortable. Views of lake.

Very impersonal. Staff we dealt with were unhelpful, inflexible and unfriendly. Reception was never manned over the duration of our 6 night stay. Servicing of apartment inconsistent. Expensive compared to other apartments we stayed in of similar standard.

It was nice to arrive at the Mantra to a clean well presented building and grounds with staff that had everything ready and waiting. Close to public transport, a short walk to other shops and not to far away from the city centre. A very nice unit with a good views and every thing that you need in the unit.

If travelling as a group one of the lakefront apartments would be fantastic.

As a solo traveller the apartment I was given was one that typically is joined onto another and therefore there was a bit of an issue with noise coming through from the larger apartment. Also just being a room there was not too surprisingly no kitchen facilities. The room was also very close to the main road with the noise you'd expect from that kind of location and the only views from the windows were of walls.

Absolutely superb apartment - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and enormous living room with large kitchen area. It is more like a home than a hotel. Everybody will love this place!
