Mantra Marina Queenstown  

My wife and I arrived, near sundown, at the Mantra with our married son, his wife and our little 13 month old grandaughter booked for 2 nights in two bedroomed apartment with lakeside view. Staff were tops and offered to show us the apartment first and then to make up kingsize bed in one of the two bedrooms that only had two singles, which we accepted. We had our own portable cot for the baby. Shortly after, the staffer returned and, instead unlocked a third spacious bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite for our use. We ended up with a three bedroomed apartment each with ensuite, so there was one each for each couple and one for our little grandaughter, across the hallway; it was perfect, and all done at the suggestion of the Mantra staffer, at no extra cost. The apartment was very spacious with open plan layout and a stunning view over our balcony to mountain and lake. Kitchen was well appointed and we did our share of meal preparation for our group; also very clean and functional bbq on lawns next to our apartment came in handy. It was a bit pricey, but most things are in tourist Queenstown - very enjoyable stay.

Be prepared to pay premium prices, but you will enjoy the result.

Nice view over lake. Room was superb - luxury appartment. Very well appointed. Would like to have stayed longer.

I thought it would be closer to Queenstown (it had a Queenstown address), certainly not walking distance. Probably wouldn't be happy with a roadside apartment without a view, but we were upgraded and it was fine.

Every day they do housekeeping, beds are fairly good.

It is really close to the airport but a little bit far away from the city centre. Sometimes free wifi connection did not work.

It was home away from home.

I really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are very clean and tidy, with great facilities and free wifi. The view out side of the rooms are beautiful, with easy access to the town and airport. Also, easy to do shopping around given closer location to the supermarkets. The staff here are very helpful and friendly. Really a great place to stay and would highly recommend to my friends if they visit Queenstown.

The peace and quiet, the beautiful room, my partner and I had a lake view apartment and were sad when we had to leave.

Lakeside, public transport, luxurious apartment, walking and cycling nearby, excellent staff, close to airport, serviced daily, very modern facilities

location...a long way from city centre

We were upgraded to a fantastic huge room overlooking the lake with great mountain views. The office staff were always friendly and helpful,thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Tip, local bus outside hotel takes you into Queenstown.

Super luxury accommodation, spacious as well with superb service. Aidan (probably spelt wrong) in particular was a star!

It was nice to arrive at the Mantra to a clean well presented building and grounds with staff that had everything ready and waiting. Close to public transport, a short walk to other shops and not to far away from the city centre. A very nice unit with a good views and every thing that you need in the unit.

Very modern and comfortable. Well equipped. Easy parking. Lake views from our room, walking or cycling path into central Queenstown.

Had to pay extra for bike hire. Felt they could have been included in price. Need a few smaller frame bikes for pre-teenagers.
