The hosts were AA+, very friendly and so helpful. We had a slight issue with the shower and by our return trip they had resolved it. The restaurant attached is worth every cent but you have to try the desserts, they are to die for. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Terry and Mavis The step up to the bathroom. My nephew died in a motel on geothermal territory in a unit planned exactly the same way and it did frighten me somewhat. Other than that the motel unit was lovely.

2 bedrooms 2 tvs dishwasher heated indoor pool quiet curtains didn't let in the sunlight breakfast cleaning only one couch would of liked a games room/gym parking was tricky for our unit

The friendly and helpful staff, nice room - very clean, the breakfast was delivered the previous night so no need to get up early and get dressed. The parking was a little difficult - we needed to back out onto the road. Not much traffic so didn't overly worry us.

The room was Great and the owners were very accommodating throughout our weekend stay during their busiest weekend of the year; I highly recommend staying here! It is a competitive rate but the amenities like WiFi, snacks, room service option, some Cable called (Sky), with a comfy bed in a good size room with everything you'd want including food on-site. ...That we were upgraded to a larger room with cooking facilities I.E. not just a microwave. We also enjoyed having a small terrace. The motel was full of contract workers - not a problem for us, but detracted from a holiday atmosphere.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated with friendliness, warmth and professionalism. No request was too much trouble and the extra touches like complimentary bottled water just made us feel extra spoilt. The hosts were only too happy to give us help with taxi's and venues for evening entertainment. The apartment was lovely and we particularly enjoyed the privacy and having our own outdoor area, we we had our breakfast! we definitely want to come back to visit some different wineries etc, and we wouldn't hesitate to book the Marineland Motel again.

Our overall opinion of the Motel was good, we would stay there again if we happened to be in Napier, the room was very clean and comfortable, it was good value for money and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Our room was a little cramped we felt there didn't seem to be a need for the easy chair next to the bed....

probablement notre meilleur rapport équipement/prix de notre voyage en NZ. Accueil un peu distant à l'arrivée mais très professionnel. J'ai obtenu tout de suite ce que je demandais, c'était simple mais très bien. La chambre très propre et très bien équipée, un super salle de bain avec Spa privé, une petite véranda donnant sur le jardin, et un petit déjeuner apporté dans notre chambre. En plus j'ai pu garer la voiture juste devant la chambre, bref, super sympa, je recommande vraiment, même si ce n'est pas le grand grand luxe, c'est très très bien ! Deux TV écran plat !!!

The lawns were untidy. The room was serviced everyday but the towels and the tea / coffee / sugar was not replaced everyday.
