Fantastic stay, lovely owners very welcoming. Everything you needed was there and it was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a wonderful feast!

Positives were as follows: Pool, Spa,friendliness and helpfulness of the owners, outlook and grounds (location) & breakfast. Let down by little things such as basic amenities in rooms, little soap left in the shower, no verandah on our room, general decor did not match the quality of the location/surroundings.

The three night retreat was excellent, everything we could have wished for as a "get away from it all" long weekend. We had the smaller of the three suites that had no seating other than the bed, I would have preferred a chair/settee.

this place is awesome! one night wasn't enough so we booked for the weekend in a months time! can't wait to get back there and relax! excellent staff and service and the best breakfast ever!

The location was amazing and the hosts were so welcoming. Even though you were sharing the lodge with other guests you were made to feel like you were walking around your own home.

The peace and tranquility. Friendly, generous hosts made us feel at home. The heating could have been a little better, wasn't as cosy as I would have liked.

Very hospitable hosts, amazing setting and great breakfast. We were sole guests so facilities were great, but maybe shared lounge/facilities may not work so well with a full house.
