It was a wonderful place to stay, in a fabulous location and met all our needs. Just lovely indeed.

room was excellent as was meal in bistro style restuarant, spa bath was good

it is some distance from town centre although can walk to town alongside Lake

Views were amazing and the staff were excellent! The private grotto with spa was amazing.

I really enjoy your breakfast service ! the ladys are so sweet and nice (especially the elder lady ) let me feel so warm) missing her smile

The reception is not very polite (the first impression is too bad )

No free broadband in rooms, had to go to lobby for 30 min free, our next stay was a motercamp, they had free broadband in our room, we have stayed in nice rooms in the USA, always had free broadband

We got our room when we arrived at 10 am. It was situated and opened out onto the lake.

Free wifi just 20 mins

I loved the location and the wonderful balcony overlooking the lake

I thought the facility was overpriced, there was dust and debris in the bathroom and cobwebs and debris on the balcony. The craftsmanship on the bathroom vanity was very poor. All in all it gave me the impression of an 'aged queen'.

Location, central to most activities, helpful staff especially front desk personnel (Debbie in particular)

Loved the easy to use web site where we booked our room and then when we arrived the friendly welcome we recieved and the quick guide to show us where everything was that we needed.

Did not like the Restraunt dining at all. The food was well below par. The entree's which we ordered (Soup of the day and Seafood chowder) was bland and needed seasoning as did the main. The steak we ordered (Medium rare and Med to Well) were both overcooked and no steak knives were provided (believe they were needed). I didn't mind the $159.00 price tag how-ever the food that was served was not worth this. I would recommend this hotel to others but would not recommend the restraunt dining.

Unable to park at the resort on returning to our room late at night.

We loved the view from our balcony.The weather was glorious,the facilities for leisure ideal, and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff was "Top Class 'we dined in the restaurant the night before we were leaving and the Liverpool lady was just so friendly.We had our Family visiting from England and our stop-over at Manuels was the icing on the cake!!!! Thank You for all the pleasures we had there, and we have promised our Family that when they come back for another visit in 2-3 yrs time 'your place' is a must !!

Being Wellingtonians we would have loved to have had the Dominion newspaper delivered to our room in the mornings. Apart from that we loved our stay.
