Spa in the bedroom and separate lounge/dining Cant talk outside of an evening with a glass of wine - always being told to be quiet when really not making any noise. Too Strict, only suitable for quiet people.

From the minute we arrived John welcomed us and engaged in some great conversation about the city and surrounding areas. Made a great tour guide. The rooms are fabulous and opulent. The motel is placed across the road from the beach with some good views. The layout of the units is first class and each has everything to meet your needs. A great place to stay, just sorry we didn't have 2 or more nights. Will come back. Nothing

The motel and in particular our hosts John and Lannis made the holiday. The motel is the cleanest neatest place I have ever stayed in that includes 5 star establishments on a range on continents. There was nothing this couple would not do for us in the ten days we spent with them. An excellent experience and a credit to New Zealand There was nothing that was an issue

Very friendly welcome, good room size. All amenities, helpful information. Close to town and extremely well maintained. Strongly recommend this motel as a place to stay. Close to beach. Nothing.

Spacious studio unit Clean bathroom, nicely appointed Given instruction on how to use TV remotes Soap dispenser in shower broken in our unit Poor customer relations from lady at front desk when we arrived...let us wait while she on long phone call. We thought she could have put call on hold a few seconds to attend to us

A lovely building that fit in with the local Art Deco scene, nice modern amenities. $6 an hour for WiFi was a bit over the top even seeing as the first hour was free. Should be by data used, as this would suite business people/ those that like to stay connected a lot better. I don't know how you'd organise it maybe have a word to your local isp.

Opportunity to walk across the street to the beach promenade and then along to the town centre. Proximity to town. Having a spa bath and a separate shower. Using the Internet was a problem that hasn't occurred at any other hotels or Internet hot spot areas through out New Zealand.

Beautiful location opposite beach and close to aquarium and beach walking path. Lovely spa baths in some rooms and roomy spacious accommodation Everything was excellent although I would have appreciated it being described as offering two separate sleeping spaces as we overbooked for a group of 6

Loved the friendly owners - nothing was a bother and they gave us really good tips for local highlights. GREAT Thai food at Thai Hutt 3 minutes walk from the motel. Car parking was tight - but at least we had a car park.
