Really I don't want to quibble but a couple of aspects need mentioning-a busy road leading to the port, but these rooms are set back a bit compared with other buildings, and our sleep not disturbed. Occasional noise from tenants going upstairs to the top floor. And some extra hooks in bathroom would be great.
This was a gorgeous studio apartment - beautifully decorated to complement the Napier ambience. A lovely lounge area with extremely comfortable sofa and two single lounge chairs, side tables, desk and attractive lamps all in rich fabric and muted colours. A table and two chairs sat in an indented alcove at the small but efficient kitchen area. Off the lounge and kitchen, a chest high angled wall with cream wooden venetian blinds separated a luxurious bed/spa area. The bed with fine linen and taffeta cushions was complemented by a desk and drawers, side tables and pretty lamps.AND a huge open spa bath with towels and toiletries. A small hallway contained a good wardrobe and mirror and bathrobes. Off that was a separate bathroom with excellent shower . The rooms had a range of lighting - from soft to reading- and conveniently placed switches. Easy walk to centre of town and adjacent to the "beach". This was a truly lovely studio with a lovely host who obviously took pride in her motel.
