Facilities pleasing ; comfortable and cosy; loved view to Mt Cook Poorly signposted --directions needed and Town Information centre couln't wait to get rid of you. It was supposed to be open till 4pm but was closing at 20 to 4 and wouldn't open the toilet at that time !

Individual chalet style rooms, were a bit tired and the carpet was worn, but the bed was comfortable and there was a good shower. On a clear day there are lovely views of Mt Cook from the office area. Very poor kitchen arrangement with a portable hob that took up most of the bench. It was impossible to use more than one appliance at a time as 1 power point was not functioning. The kitchen area needs some attention.

Very warm and cosy. I am a huge dog lover so the motel dog was awesome to hang out with :) Perhaps slightly overpriced. Small TV with only a few channels (not that we watched a lot of it)

Rooms were clean and comfortable, awesome value for money. Pet friendly a real bonus as we were able to take our dog. The kitchen was far too cramped, kitchen could be made bigger by down sizing bathroom area.

The motel units each have their own little kitchen which is great for budget minded visitors. I also like that each unit is separate so no problem with noise travelling through paper-thin walls like many motels.

Friendliness and efficiency of staff. Two heat pumps kept the unit very warm when the weather was bad. The bathroom is lovely but would suggest that non slip tiles may have been safer as it can be dangerous if some water 'escapes' from the walk in shower.

Very warm and well kitted out kitchen. Great shower and bathroom space. Appreciate having a place to stay that is pet friendly. Lots of places to exercise your dog right on the front door step. Way cheaper than Tekapo! Tv in the main lounge is a bit small. No fan in the bathroom makes it very damp in colder weather when you don't not want to open the skylight

How clean the unite was and lay out for a small room. Close to the town and easy to walk to. The kitchen area could do with a bit more kitchen top bench space. Like a shelf along the back.
