Good location and free wi fi
Very laid back. It delivers exactly what it promises. It is a small country motel.
Small point - the shower could do with a shelf for soap etc.
Good free wifi
Quiet, nice large room
Notice of $20 penalty if checked out up to 30 minutes late, no fresh milk supplied for cereal in am like so many of our other stays during our 5 weeks in NZ, $4 charge for washer compared to $2 per load elsewhere.
Good value for money Great space Quiet Walk to restaurants in Town
The location is excellent as a base to explore nearby My. Cook. Local food outlets very good. Couldn't get over how quiet it was at night. Will return next year to explore more. Manager real nice guy.
Everything about this place was brilliant!
warm, cosy, friendly accomodation with all you need for a fantastic holiday. Close to Twizel town centre but quiet and peaceful. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
Individual units surroundings location
Kitchen too small
Nothing in particular
* Proximity to town * The chalet itself * Quiet surrounding
* Not really
Everything. Very quiet, and everything you need. We were impressed with our stay and would recommend this motelto ojr family and ffriends. We would stay here again
Another excellent weekend away. :-)
Accommodation good for a one night stop-over. Clean and comfortable. Quiet location.
A very small town with a few places to eat but not a very inspiring place to stop.
Good location for nearby shops & restaurants. Facilities very good and clean. Great value for money
It was so hot, which we tried to remedy with the air con and a ceiling fan but that was noisy ! No fault of the owners.
Accommodation and location ideal for overnight stay. Interesting style of building.
Being only short in height everything was at too high a level, e.g microwave and crockery cupboard. I needed a stool to reach.
The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were quite comfortable. We went in the middle of summer when it was over 30 degrees celsius. Inside was still very cool and not stuffy at all
Staff didn't seem that friendly when we checked in - no one was at the reception and when someone finally came the staff seemed like they were in a rush - perhaps we caught them at a bad time? Bathroom tap made a really loud groaning noise when it was turned on
The Chalet is very convenience location if you are going to Aoraki/ Mt. Cook or if you are going to lake Wanaka from Christchurch, vice versa. The chalet has basic pantri facility, but the bathroom pretty basic for the room charge we have to pay.
The TV was not working, no internet / WiFi facility. The room is standard basic which you will feel a bit expensive, actually you better go to lake Wanaka or Lake Tekapo for the same price, you will get a better room facility.
The location of the motel is excellent. The view from the motel is superb.
The mattress was not confort to sleep on.The wi fi disconected many times and did not worked the morning we checked out
The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!
Sandflies outside which bite!
Wifi is included in the room price.
.The unit was clean and reasonable.
We are an older couple, first trip to the south island and had travelled quite a distance and were looking forward to a good nights sleep. the bed was shocking and it ended up with my husband on the floor as he could not cope with the discomfort . The bed appeared small and not the size advertised and was so hard and uncomfortable that with no sleep we decided not to drive up to mount cook the next day. Having read the reviews on the beds, I think we must have been one of the unfortunate couples that struck the bed that the springs could be felt coming through the mattress. So disappointed .
Bit dated but okay
Spacious, whole little house as apartment
Bed too soft
