Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Wifi facilities were great, got to watch the League final on my laptop with no charge. Rooms were extremely clean. Recomended
Reasonably priced accommodation and handy to town
Getting a dated but alright for one night
Friendly staff. nice spa. good drying room. good shower. warm heating in room.
poky room . only one bed for me and son(he kicks) . Could hear other guests through walls.
One of the few places that we could find with a vacancy at short notice, that would let us book for only one night, and not a minimum of two nights! Staff very accommodating and helpful re our very late arrival ( 4 hour drive after we finished work)
During ski season and on a beautiful mid week day we wanted to be on the road early, but couldnt as we had to hang around to check out at 8 am. Perhaps during peak times, office could open a wee bit earlier
Ran out of hot water for shower
Heating was great!!
Over-priced compared to other motel units stayed at.More like a cabin.
location and price
a bit old facilities but fine
Location n spa
I have a cold shower in the very cold money because run out hot water.
Really warm, everything we needed, staff were extremely accommodating to our needs. Will be staying here again.
Bed was soft and we rolled into the middle
The location and the price were superb and the unit was very easy to warm up and stayed warm all night.
The unit was vey old and the wooden floors made it very loud and clunky. Not very many powerpoints either.
Very friendly helpful staff, heaters and electric blankets - good on a very cold night!
It would have been good if there were a few more electrical sockets.
a neat, tidy unit.
Magnificent surroundings and very comfortable accommodation. Staff were friendly, obliging and helpful. The continental breakfast I had included a very nice fresh fruit salad and a top line muesli made on the premises.
The dinner menu had a good range but my choice proved to be a bit "ordinary", though certainly acceptable.
We stayed two nights to enjoy mtn bike riding in the area, and found it quite suitable for our requirements. We paid a very reasonable rate, and although the room (studio) was small, we were not there during the day, so the size was irrelevant. The on site spa pool was great after a strenuous day.
It was very clean , comfortable, and good value for money
The hot tub though it's a bit funky
It was a summer cloudy day and the place was deserted and barren
Very spacious, close to the bay
Décor though tidy is becoming dated.
Heating was good and location was good.
Perfect location for tramping in the volcanoes. Has a spa to relax tired muscles Very good value. not much more expensive than a backpackers and you have much more facilities. I will use this place again. Staff are very helpfull.
Shower was a bit low pressure
Proximity to tramps up the montain
A bit in need of renovation
Basic motel but clean, just needed for one night stay and suitable for purpose. Price fair reflecting budget quality.
handy for the shops
In a room at the back Only a couple of other travellers esconced single travellers always suffer shower was poor, trickle hot water Cold tap in the kitchen was jammed
Convenient for area
Basic room facilities no wash basin. Had to use kitchen sink for shaving and cleaning teeth in an area that had limited spce
