The friendly attitude displayed by all staff during my stay

The staff were polite, helpful and happy. The art decorating the hotel lent great ambience and interest. The room was comfortable, spacious and interesting. The 11am check out was great after a late night. An all over great experience.

The only thing is that the shower door tended to sit open a fraction spilling water onto the floor of the bathroom.

The bed was fantastic. Night staff were great we booked in at 12.30am and left again in the morning so have little comment about anything else

I left at reception a list of 4 complaints about the room. 1. an unusual package (Of meat?) in the freezer 2. a light in the bathroom not working 3. the wash basin not running away. 4. Would have loved a cup of coffee but I could find the coffee pods. A bit of a hint on the coffee machine would have been great. The next morning offered me free photocopying I didn't do that she said I had done 2 days before we booked in? as compensation. I trust she did work out we had only been there 1 night and debited my card accordingly.

Location near the harbour and Te Papa Museum. Free guest laundry and internet. Nicely decorated with art.

An ideal location. Very tastefully decorated. Friendly efficient service at a reasonable price for an inner city hotel.

Staff were friendly and helpful even after we checkes out they let us leave car parked there while we went to tepapa was close to most things

Not the run of the mill hotel - fabulous, funky decor, perfect location and excellent service. Room was spacious with balcony and great harbour view.

Christmas dinner was overpriced and we elected to go elsewhere

Artwork makes a point of difference to other hotels. Not big and brash. Cosy and friendly.

Loved staying at the Museum Art Hotel. Only comment I have is that I found the room/suite noisy during the night and had disturbed sleep. We were upgraded from a standard room to a suite which was really lovely (but needing a bit of TLC now I think) but we must have been either near the plant room or the air conditioning was noisy.

Good location, good food, friendly and helpful staff

Fabulous location. Comfortable room. Amazing artwork to view in public areas. Sumptuous furnishings in public areas, bar and restaurant. Professional staff. Wonderful restaurant with great food and service. Bar with great views of the water and Te Papa and the most dazzling and comfortable chairs to lounge in.

Great location and unique experience

The front office staff (concierge) were absent from their desk whenever we needed them and were disinterested in providing quality service we when did find them, having to pay $20 for valet parking was also disappointing and out of step with all of the other hotels we stayed at on our trip.

Great location to waterfront and shopping Loved all the artwork and very friendly and helpful staff. Phone contact prior to stay was excellent and very friendly and also helpful.

Toilet on ground floor was very dirtly - only one cubicle. Bit of a shock to see that in top class hotel. Loved the decor in the toilets though.
