Great clean facilities. Lovely room Mattress needs addressing, like sleeping in sagging camp stretcher. It is not the place for quiet, above the restaurant, especially if this is what you were looking for.

Boutique hotel within easy walking distance to the centre of city. Excellent service provided by all staff met - more personal and friendly than going to larger hotels. Room was comfortable but a little on the small side if one stayed a few nights on vacation. Probably a tad on the high side with regard to the room rates. From a safety viewpoint, the bathroom would be improved with shower box rather than stepping into a spa bath, especially for the older guests.

We enjoyed the very welcoming feel to the hotel...you felt as if you were staying with Terry as his personal guest. Being able to dine at the Nice restaurant was a added bonus. We felt the room we had was on the small size and for the prize paid a king bed would have been my choice but obviously the room is too small to accommodate this size bed.

The location was fantastic, and the quality of the decor and furnishings was top notch. Despite being so close to the city centre, it was wonderfully quiet and private. It was a lovely touch to have biscuits and tea/coffee-making facilities in the room, and even the toiletries were luxury. At least a continental breakfast could have been included for the price, which was on the high side, even for boutique luxury accommodation.
