The room was so lovely and luxurious. The valet parking was very useful and at a very affordable price. The location is also unbeatable. I would have liked a room overlooking the cathedral- but everybody cant have one. Not really a complaint though. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our night's stay. The staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. We stayed in the heritage block, lovely character room with plenty of room and a very comfortable bed. Fantastic central city location. Only downsides, no heated floor in the bathroom and no showercap, but my husband says I am being fussy! |

We were attending a wedding in Christchurch and so wanted a central location. A lot of our Australian friends were also attending the wedding and we all chose hotels around the square. After visiting them in their rooms we were pretty smug that we had one of the better rooms for a very competitive price. Thank you for making our week enjoyable and affordable. The $100 charged to my credit card has not been refunded as yet. |

Great location - valet parking really good. Lovely place to have breakfast. Whilst rate on offer, room was in old wing. Disappointing in that bed sloped to centre. Pillows hard. Could not control heating and when it came on fan was loud. Nowhere to easily use kettle - had it plugged in on floor near entry door - no tray to put it on. Only other place was in bathroom but don't appreciate kettle in the toilet! Saturday night lots of noise through double glazing and from other floor below - wonder if better in the modern part of the hotel???? |

Proximity to shopping, resturants and bars. Hotel Restaurant was very good. Bathroom would benefit from a heated towel rail and a heater. Heater in bedroom was not terribly effective. |

Great location. Parking was a bit of a mission - ended up using the valet service which was great but additional cost of $25.00 per night. The bathroom really needs a blind over the window - it's a bit disconcerting to be sitting on the toilet right in front of a window that looks out on Cathedral Square with nothing but a bit of frosted glass to preserve your dignity!! I ended up hanging a blanket over the window!! |

The quality and coutesy of the staff was commendable, so was the breakfast. We thought that the sink outside of the bathroom was a ludicrous concept given that it is designed for brushing teeth and personal hygiene as well as for making tea. This was a vey notable flaw as far as trying to solve a design problem was concerned. |

the reception staff remembered our names they were very helpful took our bags up to our room, we were shown to our room even though it was on the ninth floor. the vallet parking was very good the car was driven to the front of the hotel most useful as it was raining. All staff were smart and presentable. |

The Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was great and we liked the little touches it offered! The site we booked through said that we got bathrobes but this was not to be. But this did not hinder our stay in any way. |
